You could always stick to fiend-focused decks, that way you have an excuse to fall back onto. Honestly, I say do what you like. I doubt you'll forget about Archfiends if you do wind up branching out.
I thought all the best Yubel builds were on the fusion-lock variant with Keeper + Deployment. This is a pretty unique and different take on the deck from the norm. Cool to see!
@@olleekenbergOh, I don't know if I like that version. I prefer a version that is similar to his, but without the Hero stuff. I would consider Heroes too, but I just hate the archetype and theme.
Solid List! My ratios are pretty similar, but I don't run the Neos package. I think it's bricky but it does make the deck more anime so kudos for that. I defiantly think the extra deck needs work. It needs a couple of link monsters for utility, at least an Anima and S:P Little Knight.
Hey! Thanks for the comment. There's multiple deck profiles in this video and some of the later lists do have S:P in there. The first decklist doesn't purely because I double/tripled up due to Prosperity. Relinquished Anima is a pretty decent tech though. I felt that Almiraj was pretty essential, especially if running the Opening of the Spirit Gates package, but didn't think of Anima. Cool shout!
@@TheArchfiendGuy It's really not that much actually, mostly for extra deck!! I heavily advice running only one Eternal Favorite since it's easily searchable and often absolutely enough once. Other than that, a Crossout Designator engine is really good here, cause if they can't Ash your Nightmare Pain, you basicly got everything going already. A little and fun tech option (even tho I don't know yet how actually useable) is Spell Chronicle, the pre-Mature Chronicle spell. It easily searches you all Traps and Spells you could ever want and at the same time collects lots of Chronicle Counters, which Mature Chronicle can use since it says "take counters from anywhere on your field" Means you can easily ban any spell and trap you like with Spell Chronicle and then add it back to your hand with Mature Chronicle. And another cute little tech is Pot of Desires. Mature Chronicle can add back the cards to your hand that Pot of Desires has banished!! And now for the Extra Deck, I heavily advice trying out Barricadeborg Blocker. It helps you protect Nightmare Pain via putting monsters in the row infront of it. It can also add you a lost NP back to your hand in very dire situations. Ahh, sorry for spamming you like this on Discord 🥺
It's quite flexible but you can run 1 Sharvara and either Abominable Unchained Soul or Escape of the Unchained in the main deck (so 1-3 Unchained cards). In the extra deck you'd run Unchained Soul of Rage and Unchained Soul Lord of Yama minimum. Yama helps you float and Rage can disrupt into S:P or Unicorn for another disrupt
Hi! First of all thank you very much for this deck profile of yours 😊 I find it really interesting, but I would like to ask how you would change/update it in relation to the new cards which will be out with Legacy of Destruction (also considering the Lv 10 xyz Vandrath, for example) 🙂 Thank you very much in advance!
You're welcome! There's lots of different ideas in this video rather than a definitive list, so I encourage you to tinker around to find a build that best suits your playstyle. I'm almost done editing a new video for post LEDE, which has a new build, combos, example matches etc. There's too much to cover in just a single comment!
Yeah it's a cool tech. I like it in Summoned Skull to turbo him out from the deck. In my opinion though I don't think turbo'ing out Yubel is too beneficial compared to setting up a float with Spirit, or a revive off Favourite. But Deployment definitely works if all you want to do is summon it quickly (and then maybe Super Poly after)
Personally I like running the dark beckoning beast package the most because it provides you with 2 free bodies on the field that you can use to go into muckraker (which is effectively monster reborn since every card in this deck is a fiend) and it also allows you to go into I:P/S:P very easily Instead of running pot of prosperity I personally prefer using allure of darkness because banishing cards in this deck doesn't really hurt you that much, and I find the half battle damage to be really annoying when trying to OTK. I also like having more freedom/space with my extra deck for the aforementioned link monsters, as well as giving me space for Ty-phon which I think is a great card in this deck since none of your monsters are effected by his floodgate.
Also, the dark beckoning beasts help you with some bricky hands. If you draw yubel or yubel spirit and have no way to get it out but have dark beckoning beast in you hand, all you have to do is normal summon beckoning beast, search spirit gates, search another beckoning beast, normal summon again, link 2 into muckraker, activate spirit gates to discard the yubel in your hand and then you can either special summon the yubel in your grave off of spirit gates, or you can special summon the beckoning beast back, then use muckraker to summon the yubel by discarding another card, and during end phase you can tribute the extra beckoning beast for yubel's maintenance and keep muckraker on the field which protects yubel from destruction once.
Also, as an alternate win condition, I've experimented with cutting imperm from my deck in exchange for effect veiler because you can use effect veiler + yubel or spirit of yubel to make psychic end punisher which synergizes quite well with piri reis map. But it's pretty redundant since using superdrenaught to OTK is usually just better... but as a plus it is searchable off one for one which sometimes comes up so it's not super difficult to go into psychic end.
Yeah I like the spirit gates package as well. Gates itself is just so good for Yubel and S:P is a wincon by itself sometimes. Allure is perfectly fine! I just prefer digging to find what I want but to your preference. Effect Veiler into Psychic End Punisher is a cool idea too. Very similar to Decatron I suppose!
These are relatively new but for the paper OCG/TCG rather than the videogames (but they'll get released in Master Duel eventually). I'm using EdoPro, which is a lightweight simulator to showcase them in this video
Yes to both! The good thing about this video is that it's all very relevant regardless of the new support because it's more of a guide than a deck profile. The field spell does the stuff in this video but more efficiently
I was hoping for a few more combos with the "pure" version, but overall this was a pretty good guide What do you think of Tokusano Shinkyojin for more draw power in the deck? I've seen it in a few other builds, but it felt like a brick whenever I drew it
The deck isn't hugely combo oriented which is a blessing and a curse. Blessing in a sense that it's quite easy to pick up and play, and there's not much setup to reach full power. But the downside is that you have less options. Still a fun deck either way And yeah the draw power from Tokusano is fine but I prefer tutoring out the cards I need. Less random that way!
And I thought the name Geist ( Grinder Golem ) was a Joke It's nice to see other Decks from time to time I'd suggest : Dark World Infernity Infernoid ( insane support ) Destiny Board Plunder Patroll D/D/D Wicked Gods 😅 Since I play them all ( besides the last one ) XD .
Destiny Board is a very cool deck, as is D/D/D. Polar opposites though! Need to bust out the spreadsheet for D/D/D I love all the new Infernoid support too!
It is very strong. Opening of the Spirit Gates is so satisfying to use. Dark Beckoning is a bit meh though. If you're going to run it then you NEED Almiraj to make Gates live. You can also run Chaos Summoning Beast to streamline things, but again, it's a tad clunky. Just play to your preference
@@TheArchfiendGuy I use the beast to to get Opening of the Spirit Gates and to summon S:P it's a nice little bonus but I'm going to try what you've suggested ^^

Spirit of Neos searches for Neos Fusion. It's a very small package that's cool if you draw it, but if you wanted to change those for something else you prefer, that's cool too. But essentially they're used because Neos Kluger is an extra Yubel type effect, and it floats into Neos Wiseman for a similar effect. It's quite nice for floating and burn damage. As I say though, you can sub these out
@literallygrass1328 yes you're right. For me it's not justifiable adding a full Neos package because that just hurts the deck's power. This was the smallest package I could get away with that felt nice to draw. It's not part of the main game plan, so I don't really care about searching it. It's just a nice tech if I happen to draw it, that's why you can easily sub it out (I'd probably put in a small Gates package instead)
