When Berserk Archfiend appears and Lightsworn Archfiend, I can't help but look forward to Archfiend growing slowly little by little. I am currently researching whether it is possible to create an Archfiend that is a mixture of "Chimera Fusion", "Berfomet the Mythical King of Phantom Beasts", and "Chimera the King of Phantom Beasts". It's a very happy time.😊

Ah, it is possible to run the Chimera cards and they're pretty decent because of their ability to float back into Archfiend monsters. Chimera Fusion is just a great card. If you run it, I also recommend playing Magnum the Reliever for added consistency
Charge of the Light Brigade can search it as well though, so reserve your Heiress search if it can be helped. Bone Archfiend can also mill it from the deck
Dude I have been trying for days to make a deck work this new card. Unfortunately, I haven't been in the game for a while so my lack of knowledge of cards and familiarity with archetypes etc.. really made it difficult for me. I have like 10 variants, not even joking, but all just lack consistency. This deck you made, seems to have that. I look forward to adding my own ideas to this so thanks for the deck profile. Love the Archfiend content! Still my favorite archetype, so keep the videos coming!
It all just takes practice. Knowledge of other decks is a constant struggle! One of the best ways to learn is to play those decks online though. Just have some fun with those strategies and then you'll know where their weaknesses are. This variant of Archfiends is still ongoing but it seems promising to me. If anything I'll probably always run the tuner

I like the fact it triggered heiress since the mill effect is not a cost and it happens at the end of the effect, which effectively makes you +1 if you mill heiress or rhino or even the lightsworns that proc effects in the graveyard.
@IzNebula I have considered it yeah but I haven't tested it. I don't run that many Lightsworns so I didn't want it to just be a brick in the hand. Sounds good on paper though
Out of curiosity: which YGOsim are you using here? I’ve been researching the various sims available in 2023 to test stuff out before I settle on spending gems or potentially money on decks in Master Duel, and ended up going with Omega, but it’s just not doing it for me (not to mention, it’s stuck in an update loop on my main rig, so effectively useless there).
Hey! It's EdoPro, which is the upgrade to the old ygopro. I use Omega as well, but Edo is quick to boot and test, and I tend to use it in my phone a lot. They're both good sims though

I guess it depends if you're counting Lightsworn Archfiend, which is a fiend, as an Archfiend or not. I tried to run a Lightsworn engine that was small enough but could still consistently summon Archfiend. I'm not sure why you think the second example was all Lightsworn though because I got around most things with Archfiend stuff (e.g double glitch and Berserk Archfiend). My end board rarely has any Lightsworn cards
@@TheArchfiendGuy not the second game, the second example in the combos section. The games were a bit more archfiendy, but something about setting up using almost all lightsworn stuff puts me off. I already have enough trouble saying "this is an archfiend deck I swear, ignore all this burning abyss setup", but at least theyre fiends lol
Ah I see! Well that's because Archfiends don't have any starter cards, so you just pick your engine preference to get them going. Although arguably you could say that Lightsworn Archfiend is a starter
When I first read this, I thought you meant some sort of fiend good stuff deck. But now I see Fiendsmith is a new archetype! They look great, I'm on it chief!
As always, great combos and idea from you. But I have to co-direct you on one small thing, it's the second tuner. But the first Archfiend was level 4, the other was level 3. Also, did you notice that Lightsworn Archfiend Snow is from the Dark World? Is this any sign that there is more to come in their direction or that more archfiends will become? In any case, I'm more than excited.

@@TheArchfiendGuy I have to apologize, I was firmly convinced that Archfiend Exzentrick was also a tuner. Yes, I'm curious to see whether they'll do more with the elements and whether a faller or spell will come out at some point that is only for the archfiends, I would at least like it. Maybe one that is special summoned from the deck with different elements, then the chess archfiends would find play again.

Heiress can search the tuner or palabyrinth, which is a bit of a dilemma^^ maybe I'll add terraforming to help with that

It just uses a small handful to keep Lightsworn Archfiend live. Archfiends benefit from the mill!
I refuse to use more the 5 lightsworn in my deck, I hate those guys. And 3 of them are Weiss
