My grandparents went to school with Shirley jones. And they always said that she wasn't a very nice person she was actually kind of snobby. Hopefully she changed in her later years and got a bit nicer.😅
I was a Partridge Family fan, and of course, had a crush on David Cassidy. I loved Shirley Jones in her movie musicals. I also enjoyed Jack Cassidy, especially in Alias Smith and Jones. Shirley was in a tv movie with William Shatner, but unfortunately i cannot remember the name of the movie.

My mom watched the Partridge Family because of Shirley Jones. My mom said she liked the Actress Shirley Jones that she was a movie star. Recently saw her in movies that she was in like, Oklahoma and The Music Man. She was a beautiful lady and has a beautiful voice. Plus my mom liked that her character in the Partridge Family was a single parent raising 5 kids on her own. My mom had 4 kids raising on her own too. 😊 God bless Shirley Jones, surviving marriage to Jack Cassidy. Jack Cassidy was one of my favorite villain characters in Columbo. Jack was a great villain in tv and real life. He could have been great as a villain in the movies too. Was an alcoholic which didn’t help. Love all the Partridge songs/ albums too. Shirley Jones didn't just do musicals. Two movies that she was in that were pretty good was Two Rode Together with Richard Widmark and Jimmy Stewart. Shirley Jones was the love interest of Richard Widmark and the other movie also a western is The Cheyenne Social Club with Shirley Jones as the house madame Starring Jimmy Stewart and Henry Fonda . Stewart playing John O'Hanlan and Fonda playing Harley Sullivan. Both are good movies and I highly recommend them.
