You promote FMA but call yourself a sifu? Make that make sense. FMA stands on its own!!!
Yes you right 👍 I'm started training in Chinese Wushu when I was 5 year old. Yes I'm a Shifu because it's my first title in martial arts. But in late 2010 I'm promoted as a Punong Guro by GM Jeremias Polinar co/ founder of Bapoma Eskrima Arnis Kali. That's why here in BTPMA combat we promote not only Wushu/ Kung Fu but also Filipino martial arts BAPOMA Eskrima Arnis Kali. So, what is your problem?🤣

FMA rarely gets the recognition it deserves, it also doesn’t make sense to exhibit FMA techniques then be called Sifu. My FMA teacher is the queen of FMA, she has black belts in other disciplines and will never allow me to call her anything except Tuhon. She will scold me or even kick me off of her register. All the best to you and your style. 🤝
I know you don't know what curriculum we have. If I teach Kung Fu, my students call me Shifu(teacher or father). If I teach FMA, my students call me in our dialect as Guro or teacher. Also if I teach Muay Thai, they call me Kru... Title is not important for me. Although FMA is not my first discipline, but it's my duty to promote FMA, because I'm a Filipino and no one can stop me to teach FMA.

All the best to you and your endeavors. I always acknowledge my Chinese martial arts training but, never promote something that isn’t my heritage. I promote FMA, my heritage. I’m sure the Chinese will be very happy you promote their art. I’ve never seen Chinese promote FMA though I wonder why? If you know kindly tell me. I’d greatly appreciate it 🙏🏽.
