Filipinos definitely know how to put on a show. Even in the more local parts of Sampaloc, there was always something going on, someone celebrating, locals out having fun. It was such a nice atmosphere there! 💓🇵🇭
I think BGC is nice all modern, but the vista of the makati skyscrapers are pretty crazy. i always am left in awe as they have these little pockets of different cities within the cities. BGC, Makati, Eastwood, so and so. And plus the initiatives to connect them all together and the reclamation projects is going to make the vista for the city another thing to look out for.
Yeah, it was crazy to see the difference! It was like a whole different city! We didn't manage to visit Makati, Eastwood or any of the other places, but it'll give us a good reason to come back 😄
This place is actually best to visit at night and during the weekends because thats the time the locals go unwind and do their recreational activities.
Oh really! We went at the wrong time then as it was a weekday and headed to the mall in the evening! I'm sure we will head back to BGC at some point though to explore more 😃❤️
@@DisappearforDays Wonderful. I've never been to the Philippines. Out of more than 10 countries in this region, I'm in Malaysia, been to Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia only. Worked and lived in Mumbai. Been to Spain. A brief stopover in Istanbul and Dubai. That's it, hehe. Been all over Malaysia but not in Borneo. Been all over India but not the east side. But one of my best trip ever was my 9 days, 7 nights in Spain, been to Madrid, Seville, Jerez, Torremolinos, Malaga, Granada, Sierra Nevada, Cadiz and few other towns. At that time in 1996, my trip only cost a little bit over RM1K, all expenses included, return air fare, hotel stays, 2 nights in Seville, 1 night in Torremolinos, 2 nights in Granada and 2 nights in Madrid. It also included a fast train ride from Madrid to Seville, luxury coach bus from Seville stopping at Torremolinos and Granada, back to Madrid, all entrance fees to some UNESCO world heritage sites, part meal and a bonus trip to Sierra Nevada. At the same time, I was contemplating for a 5 days 4 nights stay in London, about the same price but only includes return air fare, and hotel stay, that's it. That was one of the few chances I had to visit London, UK. 😀

@@uchniezt1212 Thank you for your information. I've already watched lots of videos relating BCG to Manila. I'm not sure about other big capital cities in Southeast Asian. Malaysia has Kuala Lumpur, and the greater part of KL has many other emerging cities around it like Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Ampang, Cheras, Setapak, Gombak, Puchong, all in the Klang Valley.
