I never was happy with my original vents in my swarm traps so this winter I made some modifications to my swarm trap vents I run 3 in all my traps with a solid entrance door
I was just at Lowes buying materials for traps based on plans I found online. The plans mentioned vent and screen and “opening was a swarm was in.” No further explanation and I was wondering why not open before the swarm arrives and why the vent was even necessary. So this was timely for me and a great, detailed explanation. Thank you!
