Dude there will never be a show as deep and pure as Ozark. From the actors to the story to the music and the symphony of them all together. Definitely the greatest show of all time.
I was introduced to his music by my oldest son few years back and took him to his concert in Los Angeles, what a show, very memorable event! I love his music and still brings back some special memories of those times.
Totally agree! More like song of a lifetime to me. Although, I am afraid if I keep playing it on repeat, it will lose some of it's awesome luster, if that is even possible. But I'm not sure I want to find out!
I've been listening to this over and over for months...and it still sounds incredible...whats happening? I've never had a song keep so well for so long!
In my house we loved mmj for years My daughter now almost seven, has been a Jim James fan since the age of two. She loved Lay Low, It Beats for u etc as a toddler. Last album she loved the song A New Life. This Album she is now into here in spirit.
Jim James is really one of those pure artists with no constraints... I don't love everything he's done but can appreciate the hell out of it and this album is one of my faves including MMJ
I dunno why, but I love how he sings words ending with hard consonants like "want", "spirit", "like". He's like..."this beautiful sounding word ends whenever I wan----T!"
checking in from 2024 and this is a good one Jim 🤯. We sure missed you at the Saint Augustine Amphitheatre this year. Perhaps next year you'll come back to our beautiful venue underneath the oak trees as spanish moss and skip the concrete monstrosity up in Jax. Just hoping 🤙🏽
Another incredible song from Jim. Hey Jim James, check out Sadhguru. You might find some of the things he has to say interesting. Also, it's just an idea but maybe WFUV could also include the names of supporting musicians in the credits? They are incredible as well.
One good song (which I’ll definitely say it’s a good song) and they become a narcissistic god like image fashion icons and spiritual models All in the name in ART Drugs baby. Cool. Fresh. Get it
visceral nauseating experience. while i've enjoyed other versions of this song, he has the pitch shift on the keyboard boosted up too high, perhaps a quarter tone. for folks with a decent sense of pitch, this creates the auditory equivalent of fingernails on a black board. please jim don't do this again.
Thank you Ozark - always curating wonderful music

The real vocal talent is the back up vocals 😆 I'd love to hear her sing it.
I haven’t felt this intellectually stimulated (by sound, not just words) since first listening to We are the Dead by Bowie. And the soul - fuck me x
Darlene Snell & Wyatt Langmore - Ozark 4ep
