I have been looking for ideas for a DIY Sim Rig for a couple of months now, I have watched as many builts as possible even from people in countries I have no idea the language they speak and I have to be honest, this is the best I have seen out there, the atention to detail, the effort and patience, that right there is the perfect example on how you have to take on a proyect no matter what it is.
Be very proud of your self, that is an amazing job

That's a great build we'll documented not breaking the bank either. Very much along the same lines that I'm planning when work eases off for Christmas.

Very nice build, you did a great job. I'm a woodworker and i will be building this out of some nice hickory and putting on a multi coat clear finish, I will not be using screws I will use dowels hope to to start in a few month. thanks for the vid, it looks great. I'm building myself a new shop 25x35 and it will live in there with my gaming rig..

I think this is the best simulator DIY video and I liked it very much, with ingenuity and creativity, thanks for comparing it with AutoExistence, it does not matter the low budget because the low budget is the reason that wonderful things are done like your simulator. Necessity is the mother of creativity. BEAUTIFUL JOB ! Blessings from Mèxico
HERMOSO TRABAJO ! Bendiciones desde Mèxico.

That is terrific work! Your finishing with carpet, vinyl, and that red piping is top notch. This is also the first RS 1 build video where I see all the effort to route and hide the wiring. You did really well. Thanks for sharing.

This turned out amazing I'm proud of you. For somebody who didn't have any upholstery knowledge before hand this could sell for more than one of the metal tube set ups and those are in the 1500 dollar ball park.

This is absolutely amazing. From all the RS1 builds I've seen, yours definitely looks the nicest. Sweet idea on the additional side panels to hide the screws. Can't wait to get my plans this week.

    Congratulations nice job.
I noticed that you complained about the position of both the pedal and the seat.
With this DIY station, I believe you have a lot of opportunity to improve the problems you have encountered with improvements.
I really like how you put the carpet and the vinyl and the red cord as an ornament.
    Have fun.
    Greetings from an Italian simracer.

Man, I love the inverted pedals and all the trim work you did on this. I’m seriously considering this build. I’m not way tall but even at 6’1, I think I’ll have to modify the plans to get the wheel deck up to a better height. Great job!!!

I would love to built this. But I play more than just racing games. So I would need to make it a little wider to hold a mouse and keyboard. I'm at a lost on how to do it. So it's not a pain in the ass. To Dismount and mount the wheel

Great job, is there any mileage in crating a bare skeleton frame to ensure you fit the rig first? Then when you build it you know all the controls, seat and TV are in the optimal place.

I wonder how much this cost in materials. I am in the process of building my own rig with aluminium extrusions, so far it looks like $300-$350 for materials + I am gonna get a seat from local scrapyard for cheap or maybe even for free. So it should definitely be under $400 and very very sturdy.
