    I know this is an older video, but thanks for laying it out in a clear way, and you ordered the information just right that I could actually figure out the implications instead of it being spoon fed. I already figured out the full bridge rectifier into a capacitor store and regulator combo before it was even mentioned because of the clear and well ordered delivery. Thanks.

I've never heard someone give such a good explanation of a semi-complex topic before :) --or at least, it didn't seem simple to me before haha. It was simple enough for anyone to follow, but you still went into the details to really understand what is going on, why, and how the variants interact.

    the IC on both the receiver and Transmitter are for communication with the exception of the transmitter doing double duty as communication and Mosfet Driver, The comms portion of the transmitter is for Smart charging. the short pulses from the transmitter is basically the transmitter asking "Anyone there??" However it also serves as a non compatible object detection and will prevent charge mode. When that pulse hits the receiver it wakes its IC and responds "yes I am here, Start charging" once the handshake is made, it begins the charging process but also monitors the current draw from the device to be charged. The more the device tries to pull determines the Fast Charge state. If current is low enough it charges at 1Amp all the way down to 200mA. If supported by the transmitter "QC Fast Charge" the transmitter will send up to 2-3 amps depending on the QC level

    Hi, thanks for the video it helped me and my friend a lot while we were trying to transfer energy wirelessly using solar panel as an energy source but when we connect the middle leg to the power source the circuit didn't work which made us wonder what would be the reason? Could it be because of the coil? we couldn't find 0.8mm coil so we did it with 1.0mm coil. We also try to use dc power source as you did but correspond with the same problem. Thanks for your help in advance and for the video.

    I have recently constructed everything you have done for this project. really enjoyed the process of making it and learned a lot long research. Only one thing I couldn't find, which is the type of oscillation is used at the transmitter stage?? I was able to find that it is a modified Royer oscillator in one article. But again no explanation was found, so I am unsure if that's right. I would like to hear anybody's opinion too. the reason why I want to know this, coz there is no resonant compatibility between the two circuits. resonant frequency has been only determined for the transmitter stage but not for the receiver stage.

    You forgot to talk about the skin effect .
    It's that when a high frequency current is passing in a conductor it passes only on the skin of the wire . That's why the commerical charger has thay type of wire which is a lot of thin wires twisted together . That's also why some high frequency SMPS transformer wires are thin wires winded together on parallel to reduce the skin effect .

    Hi there! I was wondering if you could help me with a DIY experiment I’m working on. I’m a barber and I’m trying to modify my wireless clippers to be wireless charging too. I was thinking of purchasing the receiver and soldering it to either directly to the lithium battery or to the area where the charging wire receiver is.(sorry for my lack of terms 😂 I know how somethings work from experiments I do but don’t really know the terms of the stuff.
    My second question is, once modifying the clippers, would I be able to use any other wireless charging ports or do I have to buy and use the same transmitter for the receiver connected to the clippers?
    Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks for the informative videos! Keep at it ! I love your channel. Learned a lot from it u have no idea 😂 thanks again bro

    • @aisuka8200
      @aisuka8200 Рік тому

      Also ! I forgot to mention. There is a company called Tomb45. They make wireless charging matts and power clips that can be attached to the charging port of the clipper which once attached and placed in the mat, can charge the clippers wirelessly. It’s totally cool except i don’t want to have a power clip attached but instead modifying the clipper from the inside. Which is also why I had the idea of directly connecting it to the charging port spot inside the clipper. I understand depending on the size of the module I may have to modify the shape of the clipper case too but that’s no problem as I modified the case many times before, like you would when modifying a cars sharpe to fit new components.
      Thanks again bro and my apologies for the long comments by the way 😂

    Awesome video!! Can anyone explain to me why this sort of technology is not being used to charge batteries that run the transmitter. So the transmitter is being ran off a battery, DC, to an inverter to AC current into the transmitter coil to send it over to the receiver coil where the receiver charges two batteries and uses one to run the transmitter while the other battery runs whatever. Can that not work?
