I read that Selena was supposed to play in Mexico, while the English label set dates for her in Los Angeles, Abraham ended up canceling the Mexico date because the Los Angeles date was set last minute, I would have gone with the Los Angeles one too since she was going into the “Dreaming of You” era, so, it would have made sense if she was in America promoting her ENGLISH album instead of being in Mexico, people also said that if Selena HAD gone to Mexico, she would still be here since she wouldn’t have been able to go to the Days Inn, but, what people don’t think about is Yolanda still would have tried something, she would have still lured her to the hotel after she came back.

Also this very news April 1 was supposed to be her televised concert in Los Angeles that she never got to perform. It hit a major artery to the point even 12 units of blood transfusions kept on spilling out of it and wouldn’t stay in her so she died way to soon. I always loved Dreaming Of You another English song I wish they would’ve added in the movie was Captive Heart that’s a great song and Spanish Techno Cumbia a shame those songs weren’t in the movie. She would only be 53 if she was alive today. Loved her since I was a kid.
For like crying out loud when I look at the video of Salinas‘s mother going to her daughter‘s funeral service on crutches, I will not forget my whole entire life beyond words of time and distance that you cannot forget when I listen to Selena‘s music 64 years old 2020 40 all time looking at a mother going to her daughters funeral service on crutches in one video that touches me I will not forget beyond heart and soul for all time and you cannot forget beyond those words and beyond times they cannot forget for all timeand I listen to Selena’s music and forget her mother as well for all time

I was only 2 yrs old turning 3 that summer of 1995, obviously I don’t remember much, but I remembered later on in the lates 90s there was a lot of tributes for Selena, I had cousins who came from Texas n they would play her music on her bday or the day she died My parents were supposed to go see her in concert in Chicago March 11th I think but they couldn’t go cuz my father got so wasted but I saw the tickets pretty cool !!! .
