Welcome to another vlog yall! I know a vlog was not next on the agenda but the other project I am working on is not quite ready so I hope this will suffice for now…. If you go back to the vlog right before this one you will see that I was just going through it. Literally a month later (literally) God gave me everything I had asked for (in and out of prayer). I feel like that is enough to show me how present He really is in my life and that He is listening even when you don’t think so (or even if you aren’t even talking directly to Him in prayer) . I finally feel like I am going in the direction he wants me to be…

What did your daily task include in adolescents/children’s mental health? I know you couldn’t show much due to HIPAA, so I was just wondering because I’m thinking about going into psychiatry/Mental health for my MA externship.
Honestly, this may be discouraging but it’s a pretty simple job compared to every other MA job I’ve had. Basically, the only hands on patient care I do is vitals. Everything else is computer/paper work. A large portion of my job is also spent answering the phones and getting messages through from the patients’ parents to the providers. Let me know if you want a more in depth explanation of what the computer/paperwork consists of. It may just be where I work, but that’s pretty much it. I would recommend choosing another specialty if you want the full spectrum of what the Medical Assistant role consists of. I will also be releasing a video soon about my experience from when I first started up to now so stay on the lookout for that as well!
