The people who run Patek Philippe are the biggest hypocrites on earth. 9 out of 10 clients they sale too are watch flippers. 90 percent of the watches they make are sitting on shelves at grey market dealers collecting dust. How did all these watches get there. If they really were serious about not wanting people to flip their watches they should require proof that a previous buyer is not selling the watches they previously purchased. Yeah they’ll never do that. Sly can buy any watch he wants. He has the money so it’s only a matter of price.
I bet he bought it as an investment and BAM he cashed in didn’t he! It’s his property and he can do whatever he bloody wants with it! Spending 3 million on a watch is obscene. Bravo Sly👏👏👏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I’m sure there was a deeper reason why sly had to sell. As you said he was seen wearing an old submariner. Which means he does have watches he keeps. Either way, he has burned the bridges with patek. Also true is that he has ruined it for everyone else that has tons of money. Patek will break all stickers and packaging before the customer leaves. No more sealed Pateks, just like no more stickers on Rolex.
Hi Brendan what you got to remember patek didn't give him the watch (they could have borrowed it to him for the publicity and then he could not sell the watch) they sold it for 3 million quid so they don't have the moral right to question whether he can sell it or not. I think this hierarchy ball shit about not ever being able to sell one of pateks watches (3 million pounds) is just ridiculous just to be a member of their club that's what it is. I love watches and can appreciate and marvel at the technical engineering involved one of these pieces . But I also believe in the right to own and sell your own possessions if you want to. And if patek are so concerned about people selling their watches have the purchaser sign a contract that's they can only sell them back to the company (don't think this will be good for business) thanks John.
He is going through a divorce. I don't think it's up to Patek to worry about what happens after they sell a watch. It's their option to worry about who they sell to next time. If he intended to flip it, he would not have allowed Patek personalize it. I think his divorce has created some unforseen financial stress
I believe you can do whatever you want with your watches. The minute you pay for the watch, and walk out of your AD, the watch belongs to you. If the owner of Patek Philippe gets butt hurt because you sell the watch, that's on him. I get that AD's like Patek frown on flipping watches, but Stallone doesn't need to money, isn't a watch flipper, and just got tired of the watch.
You didn’t get it, Thats ok. He didn’t get tired of the watch he never opened the seal or put it on his wrist! He purchased it as an investment and he cashed it in.

He sold this Patek with about 8 other of his watches at the same auction. Maybe he needed to raise some $$$ for family reasons. Am sure he is not short of a few quid to begin with. Don't know what year he bought it but am sure he would have got a lot more of it was sold in 2022 at the top or even last year.

Flipper! He should be canceled!!!
Not Sly, never John Rambo ☘️
This is sooo stupid sly single handedly made panerai popular and sly has always sold he's watches after having them for a bit this not the 1st time you buy it you own it so give me a break
Do you need a cuddle?
Lol maybe 😅😅
Is he broke?
He's broke
He should donate the profit to a worthwhile charity.
He had no reason to keep it in the bag. A nobody sure it might add value as an investment. He would not have have lost any value by actually wearing it because as it is right now, its not really a Sylvester Stallone watch since its never even been touched my Stallone. Might as well remove the name plate from the box. Hopefully the new owner gets the watch out of the damn bag. Even multimillion dollar watches need to be worn.
This is too much bitch drama for me.
Flipper collector.
Speaking terms at Omega etc...
Find a Hobby that actually makes you smile and happy cause watches ain't it for you. Just watch your vids.
I am out but good luck.
Clearly a flipper hope petek never sell him a watch again
I expect that’s definitely what PP will do!
Hes getting really old though. So he probably just want to cash out before he dies 😂
It will be worth triple after he passes.
@@BrendanBoswell...to then be hammered in Tax
I would expect they have that covered too
Sly just turned the tables on PP. Too many gatekeepers in the watch industry. Imagine you worked all your life to afford a specific timepiece only to be told you have to buy 5 other models to get on a waiting list. That's crazy so I salute you Sly.
