I do the same thing with these kind of items. Appreciate you helping to stabilize the market in a fair way. I’m also on Ship 1. I’m the yellow super sentai guy. Lol.
Most def. I always do what I can to help. I'm just not someone who you'll often know is doing it. As I don't do it for merit, I do it because it's the right thing to do. And yooooo! Super Sentai! lol
Recently when I've flipped gear, I've bought it blank, fully enhanced it and its potential and added some EX augs and some LC augments, give it a fixa and sell it on at a higher price, not to make money, but to help cut out that grind time for others who dont have a lot of free time or coming back after a long break, all Im asking for my prices is to cover that cost of upgrading, and those prices reflect that, like a couple mil more than what ive paid for it, but people get a basic +90 weapon of the latest series, without any of the hard work
Nothing wrong with this. This is completely different & not what I would call market manipulation like the examples shown here. Keep doing what you do 💪🏿
The whole scalping situation haha always a mess Honestly gave it a genuine think and to me, I think flipping a few items here and there for profit is okay as long as it’s not done excessively + as long as the entire flip isn’t being done by 1 individual. Overall greed is the problem either way, but then again controlling what people do with their money too isn’t all that fair either. It’ll always be a weird issue with no clear fix; nonetheless for me, I think I just take issue when it’s *excessive* or when it’s all by 1 individual (like with augs, when you see the price jump from like 6m to 15m and the cheapest seller has like 83 of them _for obvious reason_) or AC items where the price goes from 8m to 60m and the cheapest seller has like 11 (Happened with one outfit I was looking to get last month i.e) *Reselling and flipping is okay when reasonable, excessive greed is where my line is drawn haha*
Good man... I checked out the exelio weapons yesterday and saw the crazy prices. I was going to grab one to upgrade to get the augment transfer badges. Nope, I'll wait and make a legit weapon out of the seasonal shop. Knowing when to simply say "no" is golden.
Correct. Knowing when to say no is golden. And having patience is golden. It's important not to feed into these types of market behaviors if at all possible.
I've done this before with a few exelios along with the gold primm sword and gold primm unit 2 even going as far as to sell them on ship 4 for the same price I would see them on ship 2
Done what exactly? Sorry, your response wasn't definitive as to what you were referring (this) to, so I'm trying to get a better understanding. And are prices on Ship 4 higher or lower than Ship 2's? Lots of clarification needed as to what exactly is being stated, for me to give a proper response. Thanks!
@@Spikesxu I was trying to say that I was undercutting ridiculous prices on gear and that everything on ship 4 is like 3 times that of what you see on other ships
@@PhillipRubio578 Ah I see I see! Thank you for the clarification. Yea I know because of Ship 4's lower population, it tends to have higher prices on certain items, yea? Due to the lack of players = lack of supply or demand.
This has been a big ongoing problem. I always try to make my prices reasonable to knock the prices down. The game doesn’t give out nearly enough meseta worth an average players time to spend those high prices.
The thing is that naturally some items will be expensive, and that's understandable. Super rare items, and things such as AC Scratch items which you spend real world money on, make sense to be expensive. But when it's clear people are otherwise buying out & marking up necessary gameplay items that aren't even that rare, to create a false scarcity of supply & marking them up by absolutely absurd numbers, that's when the issue comes in. Some things make sense to be as expensive as they are because they may be very rare & extremely time consuming to obtain (or costed real money). But when people are instead just buying out important gameplay-related (weapons, units) markets that already had an abundance of said items, solely to mark the average player out of the price range or essentially extort them for high personal gains at the expense of their playing experience, is just ridiculous.
And they can gladly do so. If they want to go through that trouble, then let em. I still get mine, and there's the possibility that someone with lesser amounts of meseta is able to benefit by getting my fairly priced item. There's a possibility that I can help ease someone's frustration & make their day better. That's enough reason for me. Regardless of the odds.
I'm not on the game right now so I would have to check prices, but I would recommend searching for Endymios. The reason why you're seeing the Gold Primm II's so expensive, is because SEGA shifted from the item drops to the Endymio drops. Endymios can be converted to Gold Primm II Armors or Swords, and because they are stackable, save on tons of inventory. Endymios can be traded at a 1:1 ratio from the item lab NPC. They are likely super cheap on the personal shop and come in stacks. Mobs nowadays drop Endymios instead of Gold Primm II's, so you're seeing borked prices that are otherwise likely taking advantage of people who are unaware.
I read the first half of the title and i was wait you're a barber now? But seriously i do same but with some fashion items and endgame stuff (depends on how hard it is to obtain) because the personal shop have some insane prices like is a hair style 15-20mill
😂while I do usually cut my own hair, I by no means could ever accept the title of, "Barber". I'm definitely not that skilled 💀💀. Rare hairs and AC Items make more sense to have high numbers because those are literally items that real money was spent on to obtain & are definitely heavily numbered in supply, as it can't be obtained again until Sega decides to re-release them. That being said, yes, people definitely manipulate these markets in the same way and to very high extremities. But ultimately, those items don't impact one's actual gaming experience like the situation I discussed here. And it's a bit different when it's an item that everyone needs and they genuinely are not, "that scarce" (exelios), and you can tell that someone clearly bought out the market to drastically raise the bottom line price for self profit
Oh trust me I have zero issue crashing a market that I can tell has been intentionally manipulated by an individual(s) to price out or otherwise extort individuals on an item that does not make sense, given the amount of time or resources that are needed into obtaining it. I don't "need" the meseta, as I simply farm everything. So even a 1k profit is a profit for me. For a scalper & market manipulator, they would just have to pray I don't also have an abundance of the item sitting around in my storage. Because if I do, it's gg's.😂
Market was always like that and will be. It's useless to fight it. BTW I'll just wait for seasonal event to buy my +60 (+90 limit broken) Exelio for free (with lv.6 pot. as well).
Yes, I mentioned that free Exelios are being handed out next week. Which was a strong context in the scope of the entire video if watched in full. And naturally, free markets will operate as free markets do. That ain't stopping me from calling out or combating ill practices, however. In regards to it being, "useless". "Useless" is a term used for those who are quick to give up or quit. I ain't no quitter. I'll impact where I can. Just keeping it 100.
Especially after the headline, 500k for fixa fodder is crazy when we're going to be getting them for free in a couple days. I'd recommend to those who didn't get one just wait until after maintenance.
@@Dark_Zeraora Exactly. ESPECIALLY after the headline. Because it's people trying to take advantage of players who may not have watched the headline/are otherwise unaware. Which is just messed up. A lot of times what you'll see is that something new is about to be released, so they'll (an individual(s)) buy up all the normal priced items, so they can increase the bottom line price by a ridiculous amount. This is also why I'm not a fan of datamining, especially when it reveals things like this before they're actually implemented. It's essentially insider trading and it fks over the average player. Instead only benefitting the people who already have meseta to begin with & don't even need it.
Thank god this has not happened in JP the Gunslash where 150k max. The worst part of the BS prices will be that it's probably only a few people trying to control a market/take advantage of people. all we can do is sell our stuff at a reasonable price if the scalper buys it you win if some one gets a good deal you both win
@@azulleth9401 It's 100% only a handful of select individuals trying to take advantage of others. Without question. And indeed, that's how I view it as well in regards to selling the items. Like sure, the scalper might just buy the item to try to make sure the price stays absurdly high, but there's also the possibility that I make someone's day by enabling them to buy the item at the reasonable market price it was or should've been at before someone tried to manipulate the market with a 400% increase. In regards to JP side, I wouldn't overly expect things to get like this on JP side. Definitely not to such a drastic extent. While it's possible, it's surely not as likely. There's a vast plethora of differences that are deeply rooted from a cultural aspect & societal norm side between countries like Japan & the rest of the general west, that make situations like these far less likely to be common unless a westerner is the one on the server doing it.
