Take out always feels like a drain on the family finances, my husband and I are always looking for ways to reduce this. So far, having quick and easy to prepare meals from Hungryroot has been the most helpful way to keep us from calling in for take out at the end of a long day at work.
That's great to hear and How? Who was your attorney?! And what kind of tactics did u implement when pulled over and at the station that helped your cases?
(RN here) a nursing program will not accept him because the facilities where you do clinical student hours will require back round check and will reject him. His best case scenario is to hire an attorney to get the DUIs expunged from his record and THEN he can pursue nursing… he will then still need to disclose to the state boards (will look better that it’s expunged but the state board can still halt your application to review your case) May still get licensed but there’s always a chance board says no.
I just don’t understand why your channel is not growing much faster because you are an incredible inspiration, in terms of each of us improving our finances. I actually find more value in your channel than I do in Caleb Hammers channel because you speak to people with the sense of purpose and respect while giving them the truth about their financial situation. I can’t do anything but respect that. I’ve told 10 of my friends about your channel.😊
Denton coming from a person of experience and mature age, I wish I would have opened a retirement account and contributed to the S&P 500 in my 20’s. Please do this. You will be a multi millionaire in your retirement years. Hope all is well.
Yo this video hit my algo from Caleb Hammer and I’m so glad it did because I ran out of his videos to watch so it’s awesome to have another similar channel! +1 Thanks for the vids
this case is very much a typical case study ... in my professional career, this is the typical young person that i would counsel... unfortunately and needless to say, very few of my clients listened to me... BUT, this message is extremely important to say again and again and eventually some of it will be heard and accepted and thus applied to their personal lives.... an important factor is the mixture of substances, social relationships, and self esteem/ identity ... sometimes, a person doesn't see the self destruction habits that they develop and which isolates them from their friends and family and it's important to constantly be "checking yourself" of these bad habits (for some it's social media and video games)... if you define yourself and your goals and come up with a detailed financial plan and dedicate yourself to that plan then you will be successful in your life... don't rob yourself of this... balance in life is the key (work, fun, family, friends, spiritual, and most importantly self)
Thank you for sharing your experience on the subject !! As of my last update with the individual, he is back on track, yes it is not perfect but many great improvements :)
You’re very good with these people, Romain. I wish this young man good discipline which is what is needed. We have all made bad choices in our youth. This fact of life is compounded by the fact that parenting is often poor.
I like Romain's idea of smoking only socially. Lots of people say to quit smoking PERIOD, but some people really enjoy it. Limiting it to social situations is a good way to cut down while still having some fun with it. Everyone has their vice, and moderation is the main thing to keep in mind.
Thank you Jack, of course: Camera: Sony Alpha ZV-E10 Mics: Samson Technologies Q9U Dynamic Broadcast Microphone All available on Amazon, please let me know if you would like any additional detail. You can check out our set up on Instagram where we have some behind the scenes 👍
Hey Romain, recent sub and been loving your content, tho this one hit a bit different. I appreciate your generally non confrontational approach, especially since thats how I live my life, but I really think you both kinda glossed over 2 DWIs before even being able to legally drink. Neither of you mentioned how he could have irrevocably injured himself or others and seemed to chalk it up to, "thats what kids do". Tbh im really not even sure what should have been said, so pls dont think Im bashing you, but I just think there are some topics you're going to start encountering where it's ok to both rebuff the actions while supporting the human. If nothing just take Caleb's out and recommend seeking therapy, especially when multiple lives can be affected. Love the content Romain, keep it up!
Hello mate! I appreciate you sharing your thoughts, I understand where you are coming from, we did mention of that component at the beginning with an Important Message, as well as during the video when I mentioned the "human aspect and impact of the situation". I do agree that such behavior is non acceptable, however, while we do dive into personal stories, we hope to provide a non judgmental environment supported by financial insights to strengthen on the case that such behavior does not happen again in the future. Know however that I do take note your remark as I think about my future interactions.
@@itsRomainFaureactually I must apologize as I usually listen to financial content (dont watch) I actually didnt see the opening message, so I went back and read it. Dont know if there's any "right" way to deal with these kind of topics, but certainly appreciate you not shying away from these types of interviews as I'm sure it will help others. Stay blessed and keep up the good work!
@itsRomainFaure maybe when the time comes for him to apply for a license, he can petition the board of nursing in his state to explain his situation, but they will likely require more monitoring.

@@insomnenox thanks for sharing an idea !
I saw this video recommended after a Caleb Hammer video. Keep up the great work, your videos are very interesting!
For me definitely food delivery.. it’s so easy to spend so much daily because it’s so convenient, it’s my personal goal to cut down on those 🔥
Definitely food in addition to regular groceries. I do not need those treats! They don't help me with my financial or health goals!
For those wondering. Both duis have been dismissed to driving tickets of negligent.
Thank you Denton for letting us know! That's an awesome news mate!

He has been back on the track, going through his fees payments but has learn his lesson 👍

Yay!!! Thank you for your support and for spreading the word around as well :)
It's because Caleb is Dr. Phil and Romain is more like an actual doctor.
Romain gave me very helpful advice, I am doing much better now!
Hey Denton! Love to hear that :) tell me more 😁
Wishing you the best, Denton. Keep up the good work.

He is in a much greater spot right now :)
Love the message at the start. ❤
I appreciate your message, yes we do want to be considerate 👍
I have started to buy shampoo, deodorant and other supplies at the dollar tree, where I save a lot of money.
Found a new channel to binge
Welcome on board 😊

So much respect. You’re like this kid’s life coach too. Love it!
I appreciate that!
Good luck Denton
Yes sir!
He better be careful. Those DUIs might prevent him from getting a nursing license
Good point, didn't think about this!

“Happens to everybody “... no. No it doesn’t. Many of us go our whole lives not being selfish and irresponsible drivers.
