Suzuki opted for traditional cigarette lighter charging ports over USB ports primarily due to practical considerations for the second-row seating. USB ports are more susceptible to wear and tear, making them more expensive to replace. Traditional car charger ports offer better protection, preventing short circuits that could harm the car's battery. Additionally, faulty or grounded USB cables can pose a fire risk and potentially damage other electronic components in the vehicle especially that this car has lithium-ion battery. Great job Suzuki!
Its a great mpv for the price, yes its not a full hybrid and it really sucks that it doesnt have the 48v hybrid but its the only mpv I know that can take a 2l bottle of soda in the bottle holder, thats huge.
I think the reviewer should offer more smile, be more spotaneous, and have lesser deadair. Maybe do it with a telemprompter if that helps. And perhaps more familiarity with the car ahead of time. That would help tremendously with viewer retention and the rapport you are trying to establish even on a visual medium.
I think he himself doesn't like the car he is reviewing. He's like "Vince, why do i get to review these? yet you get to review the exciting ones!" kidding!
This MPV was designed and developed by Maruti Suzuki India and Suzuki Indonesia It's one of the best selling vehicles of Suzuki in India and Indonesia Suzuki XL7 1st came out around 2019
Practically the same vehicle ever since it was first unveiled and released. Suzuki probably thought the perks of being a (mild) hybrid would help the model's relevancy which is now starting be proven otherwise. Another blow is that the non-"hybrid" Ertiga and XL7 are already fuel efficient enough that these 2024 (mild) "hybrid" models are redundant enough to even be called new. I've driven the mild hybrid models, and no significant changes were really felt or noticed. I even turned the automatic start-stop feature off as I found them pretty annoying honestly.
price is fine, your getting electrification and cruise control for roughly the same price as the non hybrid model of last year and thats with inflation.
South Africa needs to receive the Suzuki XL7 a Toyota equavalent based SUV should be named Toyota Highlander Cross for South Africa for Malaysia & the Phillipines Kluger Cross it should look the same like Suzuki XL6 & XL7 with 5 & 7 seat cofigurations no 6 seater model like XL6 with captain chairs ,
@KuchingKingVideoGamer yeah exactly lol. As a Mazda fanboi myself, no mild hybrid deserves coding exemption in my eyes. Basically, it's just a beefier start stop system.
Its 1 of those so called hybrid vehicle that dont actually work inside Manila when its their day of coding.they're given the hybrid badge only to hyped and really bring the price way up.avanza is more practical.avanza is much cheaper with almost same fuel consumption.both are reliable.with almost identical after market services
Avanza and Veloz aren't that good 😂 NVH of it is very poor, ride quality is bad, groud clearance is very low, underpowered, uses terrible interior plastics and not that safe No wonder Avanza and Veloz are beaten already by the Xpander when it comes to sales 😂

well said,if i may add things like car vacuum cleaners use 12v sockets and not usb.
@@mindfreeze0838 I won't even recommend plugging in portable vacuum cleaners.
@@zapzeusbeats5528 there are some that actually work, but they work best when you turn the engine on(and waste fuel idling ,so just work fast).
Suzuki is a reliable car. If ur not into style or pang porma, then the suzuki is the one for you.
Will it be using conventional batteries available outside the casa? Or will it use Suzuki genuine battery only? Thank you sa sasagot.

I have seen this XL7 in SA

Still a good buy!
2024 version with that 2010 design is a deal breaker.
what are the japanese doing? This looks like it was releaased 20 years ago
it looks good in person, but lacking on technology

Suzuki is never known to have good designs anyway
Want to buy for upgrade but it's not coding exempt!
Yeah. They said they are ongoing with the paperworks with that. For now would pick the Xpander cross

In Indonesia the test is done .
You're asking too much for a 1.2M MPV. 🙄
Price of it is just fine
It's got mild hybrid engine

If you want a hybrid, then get a toyota prius and have a dependable economical vehicle. Of course you will pay for it but it is proven technology.
They don’t offer the Prius in our market

The back light makes this vehicle looks less beautiful otherwise if looks from the front it's quite nice
Howm
Looks like something that came out in 2010 😅
Suzuki XL7 was launched around 2019 in India
It's just a 5 year old MPV
@@KuchingKingVideoGamerlol his point is that the design is way too outdated

Fake hybrid
Just like Mazda's hybrid technology used in the CX-30 and Mazda 3 hatchback 🤣
Here in Baguio, XL7 and Ertiga Hybrids have green plates haha
Most hybrid dito sa Pinas ay mild hybrid lang naman. So almost lahat sila ay Fake.
