Double Kaval- A New Experimental Drone Flute

*This is a instrument of my own design, combining Pakistani(Alghoza) and Romanian (Caval) elements into one new instrument! I will call it 'Kavalghoza' for now :)
I made a couple of smaller ones before but this is the first big low A!
I searched for two Black Elderberry trunks(Sambucus Nigra) with the same shape in my stock of 4 year old cured selfharvested wood, and made two separate flutes out of them. One melodic flute and one drone and then set them together.
The drone is made so I can shift the pitch while playing.
As you can see and hear its is played using circular breathing.
I only spent a couple of hours trying to play this instrument. Quite challenging 😅, but a lot of potential! Hope you like it so far!

Wow I can listen all day and I have grown with macedonian kaval but this is awesome. Neither macedonian kaval or ney can sound like this. I make some flutes but not for selling. I would love to try and make this

Thanks! No not at all, single Romanian fipple kavals are mostely played without, the dilli kaval from Turkey is played with circular breathing however.
