I think dandys world was supposed to be “mildly horror” and not “your gonna fucking shit your pants if you play this!!!” Its very fun with actual good players on your team and it (usually) doesn’t get that grindy if you just play the game enjoying it (i yapped i know 😔)
Definitely agree with dandys world not being scary but its mostly fun and follows a really similar playstyle to flee the facility and idv just this being fully co-op, i personally feel that maybe more creepy ambiance and sounds can make the game slightly creepier but its not what the game is aiming for, also minor nitpick jumpscares after you fully die would be better, but also blackout event exist and kinda does something more creepy But game is really new and still alpha so it will probably get better the more content gets added

Dandy’s world is great. It’s fun to play and it’s not supposed to be big horror like other games. And it doesn’t have any game passes. (It will have merch in the future I think and there might be some game passes when an event ends so you can buy that stuff from the event I’m basing this off a game made by the same devs called flavour frenzy and it only has merch and gamepass for events that ended so hopefully the same will happen for dandy’s world.)
As a dandys world player I can agree by the grind Is abnoctius probably spelled that wrong but IV bin grinding for two weeks and still no were near getting the character I want but ngl I kinda find joy in grinding prob because I haven't played a grinding game in a long time
There's a game called "The Ture Backrooms Renovated" I had a lot of fun playing the game and I recommend it to you if you like high quality horror games with real effort put into them. (Please play the game :D)

If you want something similar to Dandys World play Minus Elevation, while I wouldn't call it scary I guess it could be considered more eerie. Also it came our before Dandys and is less popular, which is sad to see.
