I'm so happy I've found your channel! I've just got a cricut machine and wanted to make a memorable card for my nieces 1st birthday. This tutorial has helped, thank you so much!
I've picked them up from lots of random places over the years - craft shops, pound shops (kind of like our UK version of the dollar tree!), online, gift shops, etc etc :)

Maybe cut up the protective cover from an old Cricut mat? Or possibly cellophane but it might not be thick enough. Thin plastic from packaging might work but you would probably need to cut that with scissors, not a Cricut.
Hi Carolann, it sounds like maybe you are watching the video in low quality. Try clicking on the cog icon on the bottom right of the UA-cam playbar and then under "Quality" change it to the biggest number you can see. This will improve the quality of the video. 1080 is the best but 720 will be ok too.

How do you make the acetate so it doesn't have static?
I haven't tried it, but I've heard you can use dryer sheets. Or you can buy anti static cloths.
