Dude I’ve spent hours watching videos to fix this issue none worked but yours!!. I’m new to pc and haven’t even play on a server yet but it’s now loaded me into a modded server thankyou sir😎
So correct me if im wrong, by dragging DAYZ from D: to C: allyou're doing is moving all the files back to C:? Most people put it on D: because of the size of the files taking up their C: Drive. I don't see how this is a solution for those that have space issues. Maybe I'm missing something.
I have this problem where i can literally join every server,but when i try to join this server it says is offline and then server unreacheable. I really don't understand how to fix it
My fix was unfortunately super simple. Once you turn the game on go to the battle eye option, check the box that says you agree to the rules. Then there is a confirm or agree button at the very bottom of the box that pops up. I had to click and drag the box up so I could see it. But yes that was my fix. Very simple and made me feel real dumb lol.
it lets me join now but is till get lost connection with host error dayz 0x0004x0000 after like a couple minutes although now its workign for longer still appreciate the help
@@matthewrunyon4858 dzsa is not the most reliable source to update your mods back. I would use the standard steam launcher and try to join server by selecting server in the list of favorites then chose load with mods, give steam a while to load all the mods. If you can not join through reg steam launcher after mods have been reinstalled, then go back and try dzsa launcher

Lmao who tf has dayz on their d drive man? Im on c drive like nearly everyone else and i have constant connection issues as well as other issues on my wired ethernet connection. Was hoping for a real solution to the connectivity issues that i only have with THIS game

THIS IS WHAT WORKED FOR ME Open dayz experimental Make a character with a name Load into any server Once loaded in leave and exit Go to documents Go into DayZ Exp folder Rename DayZ Exp.cfg to DayZ.cfg Copy contents of folder Back to documents Delete DayZ folder Create new folder and name it DayZ Paste the contents of DayZ Exp that you copied into new folder you just created Open dayz launcher Go to all parameters Tick bulldoze at the bottom Launch game Once the game launches you’ll be over the sea out of bounds Close and exit Untick bulldoze on parameters Now launch normally Done

I’m so glad it worked, it’s doesn’t work for all issues but it’s nice when it fixes a few people’s problems 👍

Does this work for the Query Timeout issue I’m having? I’m new to PC too and my game goes for about 10-15 minutes before kicking me with that message.
I’m not sure, but it’s worth a try. This does not always fix everyone’s issues but it has helped a few people get back into some servers.

huh why is your launcher different i pressed options i don't anything did they the launcher in the last update i am new to this game

@Pit-Fighter I tried all that already, haha. It turns out I just needed to completely delete dayz off my PC and then re-add it.
