    Diffrent blending methods I think. One dices with it's sharp cutters, but sharp cutters can get dull over time. The other smashes the berries. with duller blades, and uses horsepower to do so. So that is why they render different textures.

    I'd like to say for the smoothie comparison, it might have been better if you used a precise amount of each fruit(i.e. a kitchen scale to get an exact measurement in grams), or, a single kind of fruit. Some fruits has different water contents than others, and unlike the other tests, its possible that more of one fruit vs the others was the cause of the inconsistency.

      Agreed.... It turned out that I just went with slightly less liquid and it turned out great, also

  • @popodood

    I have that ninja blender and just use it for smoothies these days. I overstuffed the cups every now and then, I tried manually blending but things would get stuck, the smoothie function does some weird stuff with the speed to mix everything around and not liquefy it all. So I think it is the smoothie function that produced this result you saw.

    i have a Vitamix but wanted something smaller. for me the footprint and price point of the Nutribullet takes the day here. If you're looking for a kind of vitamix, basic blender, and bullet combo, and have the space, the Ninja Foodi seems the way to go. (vitamix is 1440 watts where NFPB is very close at 1200)

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  10 місяців тому +1

      Yeah... Vitamix blenders are great, but they're pretty huge and expensive. People hate on Ninja a lot, but they have impressive features and a really good price point. I haven't had any reliability issues either, myself.

    Wouldn’t it be better to pulverize the peanuts dry before adding the oil? This way they wouldn’t stick to the sides and you wouldn’t have to constantly stop and start the processing? I’ve never made peanut butter so I’m just asking if that would work.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Рік тому

      Well... It's really high in fat, so even dry blending produces a lot of oil to help it stick.... If you do larger amounts than I did, there will be more mass in the cup to help keep things moving though... That would end up making it a lot smoother, also.

    How is the noise on both of these? Is one of them significantly louder than the other?

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  7 місяців тому

      I wouldn't call either one quiet, but the Nutribullet is quite a bit less noisy. The Ninja is more powerful, however, and is a little more versitile.

    At the end why would you say the ninja did better? Because it has a smoother consistency vs watery?
    Thanks for the video 😄

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Рік тому +1

      Well, that Nutribullet did a pretty darned good job with just about everything, but for me at that price point, the Ninja Foodi was just more versitile, had the ability to use the larger pitcher as an option, and I liked the controls better. You can just hit a button and go... with the NB, you have to hold it down to keep it running.

    There are 3 newer versions of Nutribullet. Nutri bullet Select 1000W Blender, nutribullet Rx, The nutribullet Smart Touch Blender Combo etc. these have newer blades and the last one is a fullsize

    • @JoesPhenomenal

      I saw those! Was tempted to just get them all and do a dedicated nutri vs nutri video, but I did this one just bassed on price since the 900 and the power blender are both right at $99 where I'm at. Nutribullewt has come a long way with their full sized stuff.
