Thanks for posting, really enjoyed watching vid, at 36:36 time, picture in page shows him with two other Aces of JG27, Gunter Steinhousen (40K) and Hans-Arnold Stahlschmidt (59 K), both were lost prior to his death. No other pilot had as many victories against Ally pilots, which were better trained/equipped than Soviet pilots all through out the war.
He was the only guy to stand up for humanity in a time of ruthlessness .. Not only a great pilot,personality and just a young man coming of age doing the stuff guys do..Just think of what he did,most others would never think of doing the stuff he did( Brass Bllz ) or said to the people he did for fear of being dead!
