As a musician who happens to suck at timing, I promise it doesn’t come off as random noises, but rather, brilliant work. It was awesome in the movie, but to see it recreated, and to see your hands move so fast that the frame rate itself can barely follow them, is fucking fantastic.
My best friend also plays mainly drums, and there was once a concert planned in his music school. He was playing the last song, and his teachers agreed to a plan. When they would start saying the typical ,,goodbye" stuff he would start playing this in the middle of the teachers talking and play the full solo. But saddly the concert was cancelled due to literally no one else playing good enough to organize such thing.
