Well that was fun! I worked at KB Toys long ago and sold those things. I some how feel like I've come full circle with your video. I'm now going to sigh wistfully and stare out the window for a while.
I have that Qui-Gon figure still, I just saw it in an old box the other day. Mine is well played with though. I remember getting it for my birthday ... those Comm Tech chips were funny, they used the same technology as those Hit Clips toys that were "big" back then. I'm pretty sure the reader was the same design as the device Qui-Gon used to test the midichlorians in the movie! 🤣

A few years ago I bought an original boxed ROTJ Speeder Bike. The Parts were in airtight bags. You better believe I was huffing that 1983 air.

Episode I stuff really sat on the shelves. more fun as video games especially Galactic Battlegrounds. the larger size figures were very nicely done especially Queen Amidala with her gowns and Anakin
