Just after discovering your channel a few days ago.....And I'm addicted, I was so delighted with your review of the lovely NRSVCE Illustrated Bible that I bought 4 of them. Thanks so much, I'm going to enjoy going true your great content.
I love the NASB and I love what Lockman is doing. I got the leathertex single column one from last year and it’s one of my favorite Bibles. Thanks for the review!
Thank you for this review!! This is definitely my favorite edition and format of the three main NASB 2020 that lockman has put out. I'm glad that I've held off for this one to come out before getting the prime edition. I have all three in leathertex and the Korean printing is by far the best.
Good reviews, Tim! For NASB95 fans who aren't sure whether they want to upgrade to the NASB2020, that leathertex version is a very cost-effective way to check out the new version without spending a lot of money. That's a smart marketing move on the part of the Lockman Foundation. For the low price they're asking, I'm probably going to get one for my collection. And there are three colors from which to choose! BTW... the gold gild line and the gold lettering on the spine of the goatskin version look more coppery in color than gold. Is that true, or is it just my screen?
@@timwildsmith Thanks for replying so quickly, Tim. You mentioned that there may be more NASB2020 Prime versions in the future. Do you know if any future offerings might be red-letter versions?
If I hadn't just gotten the new Holman NASB genuine leather, I probably would have gotten one of these, especially since the paper is the same in the Leathertex and the Prime. The paper is my only real complaint about the Holman (in terms of opacity, anyway). It's great that they're using the same paper in both editions. That really gives the consumer choice. You get to choose to go for the upgrade if you wish, rather than "settle" for the downgrade.
@@timwildsmith well my bible from tyndale is comming next week and I plan to read the old testament and the new testament. However, I know that Genesis has 50 chapters while Matthew has 28. I've plan breaking it down to read 2 or 3 chapters of Genesis one day and Matthew in the next day back in forth until I've reached the end. Then I'll move on to Exodus and Luke and repeat. What are your thoughts of how to approach this?

Nice!!
I love the blue colored bible. My favorite color. I hope they will produce prime editions in different colors. That would be cool.
I agree!
The issue with these leathertex bibles from lockman. They are built so well and durable you’ll start buying every layout in them. 👍👍👍👍👍
What a bargain on the blue one especially with the premium paper. As always, thank you Tim for the review and comparison.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Could you tell me if it has a footnote or footnotes for Deuteronony 32:8 and what it says? Thank you.
What is the "LPUT" edition???
Large Print Ultrathin

Thanks, Guy! It look gold to me in person!

Yep... this paper is NICE!
This reminds me of the ESV Classic Reference Bible/ALLAN ESV1 but in NASB. I may have to get one!
Yep! Similar size!
That looks awesome!
Sure is!
Thanks for the review, Tim. Have you heard anything yet about doing a prime edition of the 95'?
I know there are more 2020 Primes coming... not sure if they've added 95s to the list.
Are all the full set of translators notes in this edition?
Yes.
The website says it has the minimum translation footnotes
@@GoatClan That's correct... I meant that it had a full set of references.
Just came from work. How is everybody doing?
Good day so far!
@@timwildsmith excellent. Tim can I ask you a question?
