After watching this TAS, I am convinced that the "squeak" in its title has nothing to do with mice and everything to do with the sound of wheel changing direction.

Don't think I've ever heard an explanation of RNG manipulation as good as this good as this, I actually understood it and and now I sort of understand it in different context as well. Great work and kudos for the dedication to your craft
just imagine the reaction of the squeak squad, you steal some dumbass pink balls cake then he proceeds to robotically drive through the entirety of popstar, obliterating you only when its required, otherwise just completely finessing you out of every single chest you had collected until that point, then turns your boss into a fragment of a dark god, then fights that fragment using shit you didnt even see him eat in the first place, poor dudes never would've seen it coming Also, RETURN TO DREAMLAND HYPE! ill gladly wait many a month for that

The Sample Chample grows ever better with every video. From your TASs to ypur challenge vids, I always keep coming back to your videos to watch them over and over. Great content, dude. Keep going!
A return to dreamland 100% TAS would be really interesting because you would be switching your ability constantly. And for bosses, I think you can't mix for invincibility. That run could be awesome.
You're always extremely fun to watch, I enjoy your content just for the commentary it's just got a specific vibe and I enjoy it continue the great work ❣️
This was absolutely amazing. I've always thought of Squeak Squad as the black sheep of Kirby mainline titles, but this video has warmed me up to it. Never played it cuz I didn't get to have a DS as a kid, but I think I'm gonna *VERY LEGALLY PURCHASE A NINTENDO DS* to *PLAY KIRBY SQUEAK SQUAD THROUGH LEGITIMATE MEANS*
The elemental environment interactions and elemental combinations for wheel, sword, and tornado were by far my favorite gimmick to appear in a Kirby game, I'm so sad they never brought that back. I remember spending hours playing around with them and the ghost power (which they've also not brought back afaik) as a kid. Great TAS as always Sample!
Watching this is SO nostalgic, as it was my first Kirby game. It took me a few years of on and off playing as a kid to 100% a save file, so seeing it happen under an hour is insane! Love the TAS and keep up the great work man!
yet another excellent commentated tas. i played this game to death as a kid, probably went through it upwards of 25 times front to back. it was fun seeing all the rooms i remembered get completely blazed through. i know ill be revisiting this video again and again in the future for some good background noise, as i do with your excellent super star ultra tas. thank you sample, great work once again!
Man I remember playing this game when I was 6 years old and STRUGGLING to get all the chests. I specifically remember seeing my friends use a fire tornado and never being able to use it because I was always too slow to get the chest in 3-5. Just watching you seamlessly grab that chest like it was nothing feels like unlocking a core memory
One of my favorite Kirby games! When I was a lad I tried to go through the whole game with just the ghost ability you unlock at the end. It was a good time until I came to a mandatory downward ladder and had to give up. Love the content gamer, keep it up!
Oh wow this was really cool, I love commentated TASs and this one was great. I loved squeak squad mostly for its fast, fluid movement and this was just next-level from casual play.
I am SO HAPPY to see this TAS. This is one of my favourite games of all time, and it's so fun to see it being broken down for the sake of speed. Love your videos, keep up yhe good work!
Super underrated game that I beat three times and also happens to be one of my favorite Kirby titles, It’s cool watching this TAS teach me things I didn’t even know about it
Thank you for doing commentated TASes. They make excellent background noise with their length, and sometimes listening in to learn the tricks is very interesting!
Lots of fun to watch these, I hope that some time in the future you'll consider an Amazing Mirror TAS (100% or otherwise), I think the open world would really be interesting to route. Until then, looking forward to Return to Dreamland, keep up the good work!
Squeak Squad always has a place in my heart as it was the game that made me really fall in love with kirby games. Always happy to see it getting more attention, especially with such a well-commentated TAS
This has been popping up in my recommended lately despite having already watched it when it released, and this time I got jumpscared because my mind auto correct "TAS EXPLANATION" to "TAX EVASION"

This is some really cool tech and this video and your KSSU TAS had such neat stuff that we added it as a source to the wiki (WiKirby) in some articles. Keep up the good work!
Honestly the most impressive thing is that you spent six months on this TAS and didn't refer to the Squeaks as Squeaks even one time. Okay, seriously though, this is one of my favorite titles of the series, and it's really nice to see this TAS completed!
I knew that Squeak Squad had some tricks, but nothing prepared me for the sheer amount of them! This was astounding! I always enjoy seeing a game I love playing get absolutely destroyed. Thanks for the video!
