Squad 99 as it says on the front of Rescue 1 Outstanding I have to say that all of the rescue companies are outstanding and when I am in the city seeing rescue 1 gives me goosebumps!!
They are talking about a former captain that died on 9-11

I really like the slightly slower flash pattern on the new rigs. Not only does it look great (to my unrepentant emergency-vehicle-geek self), but IMO it catches the eye more readily than the earlier high-frequency flicker pattern.

Just wondering why standing in the rigs no seatbelts guess they don’t go that fast. Won’t go on my dept
There are no seats in the rear compartment of the rescue rigs they are full of rescuing equipment and there is only room to stand up in a single file row.
They also do go pretty fast quite often.
