With the budget crisis Nyc is set to face next year onward it will be interesting to see how the fdny is affected. I think this current batch of trucks could be the last new ones for a few years. May have to hang on to the spares longer.
Rear-Mount Aerials are already on Order and I believe 5 or 6 have already been delivered awaiting to be placed in service. Same with Pumpers still being delivered to replace 2010's. Tower Ladders are on order as well as Tillers so not to sure.
No more ESB on the Front Roof and new badge? Remember the Yellow one, "Midtown Express" (sadly I didn't make it to NYC since 2018 and also lost contact to Marty (Party, after the Pee thing and he delated all his Accounts)
This video has it all, real Q, PA300, real strobes still working and halogen lighting. Great catch on this one.
Thank you
damn, they really whipped that engine back into the apparatus floor when returning
No kidding. If it wasn’t for the person walking next to it, you’d think it was sped up lol
I DID think it was sped up for a second! Holy moly, what a pro!
@@dfw_fpis7655 When you do it multiple times a day, its done like clockwork!
Drive it like you stole it
@@dfw_fpis7655 person there or not, it would not be sped up because the light patterns would stay the same.
An actual real Q2!
Yep! Seeing them more often around the Dept!
@@Fdnyrigs about time
Great catch bud and nice to see all the lights working on that beautiful '01 Seagrave!
Thank you
It’s about time FDNY starts using the real Q

Gorgeous trucks, especially Ladder 24. Love those old Seagraves.
Agreed, that’s why I made a stop at the firehouse! New Q + Old School Seagrave. Doesn’t get any better than that
Miss the good old PA300 days but that Q is sick!
Q? I didn't see Q from Impractical Jokers in this video. You dig?
Nice catches! Midtown Madness never fails to produce action.
All FD rigs should have a Q!
YES!
Agreed, it just makes sense.
I agree especially the busier companies
People are just oblivious to electronic sirens but when they hear a screaming Q they do move over quicker. It demands attention.
@@johnsteinhart5911 Bingo! & E-1 says it makes a difference running calls that deem its use necessary !
The q is like music to my ears
For over 20 years old, that ladder still wants to tear the streets up.
haha yep! & maybe for a few more years!
awesome catch brother!
Appreciate it
