Scale mode alone is worth the price of the keyboard to me, I just want to know if it works with third party VST's and FL studio. It appears that it's done via hardware so I assume it does but who knows
@@williamtopping What do you mean "it's done via Komplete Kontrol". So I need that VST for it to work? I'm looking to buy this for Reason and Studio One. Is it compatible with those or do I need to own KK to use chord and scale mode?
Could one use this keyboard’s light guide in scale mode with midi out; to play an external hardware(a Behringer Model D, for example) or keyboard module? This way, one could have a light guide for your fingers to follow, as you play the external synth in the key of G# minor Is there any way to make this work?
Hi this is interesting, but is the keyboard actually transmitting those scales? or is it just the white notes that are being recorded in the sequencer while plugin does the mapping?

Yes, it definitely works. I’ve used the scale and chord modes using MIDI in/out for my Korg M50 and it worked very well.
Can you use the scale mode outside of komplete controll.??
That's my question too. Though I read somewhere else that it doesn't do this with other ones

Can you map easy mode to another scale, say c minor, if you prefer it?
yes any scale you want to...it just moves the scale down to the white keys so that you dont have to worry about pressing the black thats all....
