I grew up Christian and was never allowed to celebrate Halloween. I agree with you.

Thank you. It was a great video with great insight.
Even if a Christian doesn't dress up and go trick-or-treating, do you think it would be okay for them to hand out candy to others? As a Christian, I understand that I should not go trick-or-treating, would it be alright to hand out candy to others?

Thanks for watching! glad you found the video insightful.
As Christians, it's important to consider the intentions behind our actions. When it comes to handing out candy on Halloween, we should ask ourselves: What is the purpose of giving out candy? Is it to join in with cultural traditions, or could it potentially to be seen as supporting something that doesn't even align with our faith?
Historically, the tradition of giving out candy was meant to appease spirits, but as followers of Christ, our primary concern should always be to please God and live according to His will. Romans 12:2 reminds us not to conform to the patterns of this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
Therefore, while our intentions might be kind, it's worth reflecting on whether this practice aligns with honoring God. Ultimately, our goal should be to seek His pleasure and avoid practices that compromise our faith.

I think there's a difference between pagan rituals and walking my little brothers around the neighborhood, in lion costumes, to ask for candy. I've made clear to them the origins of the day, but we make every day for the LORD, for Jesus.

I appreciate your perspective and the care you take with your family. It seems you are aware of the origins of Halloween, yet you still choose to celebrate it. Knowing the reason to go around and ask for candy is to appease the demons.
The Bible advises us to consider, "What does light have in common with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). Why do we choose to engage in these activities on this particular day? The Bible also says, "Obedience is better than sacrifice" (1 Samuel 15:22). While it may feel harmless, participating in such traditions can give the enemy access to our lives, even if unintentionally.
Consider the story of Cain and Abel: Cain chose to offer a sacrifice he felt was pleasing to God, while Abel did what God instructed out of love for his Maker (Genesis 4:3-5). This distinction highlights the importance of obedience to God's will rather than our interpretation of what might be acceptable. Blessings!

Every day for Jesus, besides Halloween? You know what the holiday is all about. You know what goes on during that day and night. You look exactly like the world on that day and actively take part in the traditions. There’s no sugar coating it’s. It’s rebellion, but for childish fun.

But why dress like a demon doing wicked things? Yes kids do trick or treat but adults do wicked things celebrating death with skulls never was anything about life when I was into Halloween.

@@BecomingHisMinistry good afternoon! I understand the roots of the day, and understand your position on it. It is not my intention to cause anyone to stumble, nor is it my intention to cause anyone to deny their conscience and sin. I also understand the "appeasing demons" part, but I assure you that no demons are being appeased in the presence of the Holy Ghost, and demons are not likewise gaining access to my life as a result.
The big thing here is to remember to have faith in Jesus alone for the atonement of our sins, as halloween is a secondary issue. An important secondary issue, but secondary nonetheless. May Jesus bless you and your ministry and may God bless you this day
