oh jeez. First it was her sisters project and now Jenn is making me want some Sylvaneth. Just gorgeous and appreciate all the glamour shots so we can really enjoy the paint job. More please!
@@Gwenx it might have been the Sisters aligned Knight project. I was interested in both but realizing I can just home brew an awesome fusion of whatever I’m into- or Jenn is into apparently- really opened the flood gates.
This is a great idea and not just for individual models, for an army, like a wardrobe. It means your units feel cohesive without all being a single set of colours. More interesting armies without chaos.
What a lovely idea - I gotta make a quartet of seasonal characters now! While there are plenty of products for glistening effect, mixing a bit of true metallic paint with the color can sell the idea if you don't have access to effect glues and whatnot.
I haven't done any Sylvaneth, but my Spiderfang Gloomspite Gitz are arctic themed, with lots of blues and whites, but the spiders are painted as animated statues, with glowing green on the joints, eyes, and fangs, and also on the goblins' eyes for cohesion, and then icy bases with a ton of snow effects. Very fun
I love seeing this kind of video. It took a lot of practice and figuring out painting techniques and stuff to learn to do autumn theme for my sylvaneth army. Didn’t help I was going with white trees in a birch tree style. But has been cool for the contrast, and like this for just how it reaffirms my colour theory
Both autumn and winter turned out great. And such a neat idea to shoot the reveal pictures outside. Looks very autumn even with you moving towards summer "down" there.
I loved this! Jen, the way you incorporated those fall colors us just beautiful! And I absolutely love that you went with a variety of color on the leaf cape 😍
Nothing better than folks from a country that gets two seasons, representing the ones they don’t get! Word. The imagination is legendary in this studio!
My Guard army is autumn. Not in a literal seasonal sense but the colour choices are terracotta, green, splashes of purple. Varies a lot - Krieg uniforms are green whereas Cadian are terracotta with grey camo - but the season makes it come together. It doesn’t have to mean they’re literally in autumn thematically.
Belthanos convinced me to finally get into AoS, he's currently on his way to me and I'm still hunting for a scheme I like. The cherry blossom motif is very popular but I might still do it, it does look amazing.
The two most popular "alternate" themes for Sylvaneth are Cherry Blossom and Forest Fire. Either would look fantastic. Then, there are more traditional seasonal paintschemes.
Hey, been watching you guys since the beginning and I love the work that you guys do, could I perhaps give a bit of C&C on the video editing side, the way that the sentences have been cut make it feel like the narrations are really rushed. Again love what you guys do and looking forward to more. 😊
Looks amazing, I've got a kill team for Gellerpox coming in the mail soon and I gotta figure out my color scheme. I'm thinking Blue and Purple shadows and some washes at certain spots to simulate diseased skin and bruises? I don't know yet
It's early summer on the land down under, right? Time for a summer seasonal Imperium project, everybody heads to the beach! (joking not joking, I wanna see a Skitarii get beach body ready)
I'm painting my sylvaneth like the root from remnant from the ashes/ remnant 2. They're perfect for this scheme, the first game even has an insect queen character that has beetle pets
That's so cool. I've tried to find anyone else doing this for some tips and tricks but can't find anything. I'm not doing loads of crazy conversions cos I'm not skilled enough yet but really enjoying making them. I am struggling getting the colours and the glow quite right for the crystals and internal energy... Got any tips? Also need help with any tips?
Love the models but ive noticed in your last few painting videos that the voice over doesnt always match up with whats going on makes it a bit confusing some times
The Sylvaneth were what convinced me to stop collecting 40k and start collecting AoS. The models are just that good. My Sylvaneth are, unfortunately for them, from Aqshy and are currently on fire. We'd love to see more Sylvaneth!
How weird is it to do northern seasons like fall and winter while you're in spring going into summer? Also, never knew Sylvaneth were a thing. I only know of Sylvari from Guild Wars
@@TabletopTime Weird. I didn't realize Australia was close enough to the equator to have very light seasons... At least I think that's the main contributor. We have a strong fall but a very mild winter where I'm located. Always interesting to hear about other places
It's a shame, but those are not wood elves, it's a completely different race, I don't understand how Age of Sigmar changed the races so much, dwarfs that are no longer dwarfs, no elf is like before, wood elf, dark elf and high elves, thank god, they have released old world and we can play what is truly the essence of warhammer
I dunno why her pronunciation of "caveat" annoys me so much but it does. And before anyone says it its not just the Australian accent. Love the painting though the theme's were great.
This is very timely. I'm actually painting mine to look like Birch trees in the fall. I love the aesthetic.

Damn, i was just thinking, oh no not again! 😂
She is the reason i got my sisters haha!

Green definitely fits in autumn schemes. Purple is another amazing help.
Having a Sylvaneth army that transitions from seasons is a really cool idea actually.

Really knocked it out of the park with this one Jen, looks awesome!

I love the colours of autumn, the reds, yellows and oranges. These are amazing.
Absolutely stunning Belthanos!
I'm amazed by how you made the thorax(?) section look so much like a real insect
That Belthanos came out incredible! I was never really interested in Sylvaneth before but an autumn army... 👀👀
That painting blended so well into autumn (yes I am an Ozzy) that in the final part of the vid the camoflauge was impressive

You always want what you can't have
An absolutely Gorgeous paint scheme Jenn 😊
I love the beetle
They just shine with that scheme
Exceptional work Jen!
Amazing! What’s gorgeous paint job
Love the Autumn paint theme! Been looking for ideas for my Blood Bowl elves and will liberally borrowing from here 😂

The yellow weapon definitely works better than the green. Freaking loved this vid!!!

I painted a arch revenant but head swapped with a horned skull, painted the soul and weapons red and orange
love the new hair-do! looks nice
Amazing work!
Very nice

Wow this look so cool!
How do i use seasoning to inspire my paintscheme?
Long time past the upload i know, but i would KILL to see your Sylvaneth army in a future TTT AoS battle report!

Very impressive!
Incredible work
More fall army! Jen this is great.
I like the focus on the season of PAIN
I love this channel, but please have a look at how hard you compress your audio, I'm squinting at the screen like I'm being shouted at, haha.
Wat was the snow stuff used for the winter sylvaneth basing?
I went with a horror themed deadwood with bloody runes. Sadly i never finished my army and dont have them anymore. Great paint jobs though.
Very cool!
As reference for the winter one I can just look outside😢
beautiful
Jen is now A JEDI MASTER
Remember when this channel was going to take on GW?
Money talks 😂
I think you guys are super clever.
I was at a tournament, and a guy had a handheld vacuum for sucking up all the red and yellow leaves after his game from his Sylvaneth army bases
I'm painting my sylvaneth like the root from remnant from the ashes/ remnant 2. They're perfect for this scheme, the first game even has an insect queen character that has beetle pets
OMG ME TOO. i'm also doing root themed plague marines 😻

You are so creative.
More Sylvaneth, please!
Love the models but ive noticed in your last few painting videos that the voice over doesnt always match up with whats going on makes it a bit confusing some times
aren't you entering in spring in australia right now ?
Damn that was a good video

We honestly didn't even think about it, Australia doesn't have these evocative seasons at least where we live, so they're more conceptual.

Is anyone else seeing the State Bird of Minnesota in that bug? I feel like I want to duck and swat it or sit closer to the campfire.
I was not expecting the snowflakes transition
What will you do for Christmas?
😍😍😍
We need to see more Age of Sigmar stuff I think
Winter is the best cause I dont have hayfever
TREE
WoW's Winter Queen started to inspire people..... at least something good that come out of Blizzard in last 10 years, okay - Lilith too
Prostagma?

Bruh, Something went wrong in editing i think... Especially in daves part the voiceouver just does mot mach with the video at all!!
I dunno why her pronunciation of "caveat" annoys me so much but it does. And before anyone says it its not just the Australian accent.
Love the painting though the theme's were great.
Have I been pronouncing sylvaneth wrong this whole time
Sehr hübsch
I really Like the outcome, but the voiceover is just trash
scale? what do you mean? theyre all the same scale...well except for the god forsaken marines (🤬)
SYL-vaneth not syl-VA- neth
No it's SYLVA-neth
leviOsa not leviosA
Perfection, Juma.
