- Опубліковано 18 чер 2020
- After going into the bush to find edible plants, Greg realizes there are bears roaming dangerously close his cabin. He decides to track them down, hoping to capture up-close footage of a HUGE Grizzly!
Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

"Sometimes, my plans are so secret that even I don't know what I'm doin'!!" 😂😂
@Markus Buelow you should eat some
i laughed so hard ,you have to love this guy
The difference between you and other survivalists is that you actually teach and i love it. Always wanted to be like you when i was a kid. Now I think its too late :(
"Sometimes my plans are so secret...that even I don't know what I'm doing" hahahaha Thanks for always making me laugh! Love your videos Greg, thanks for all your hard work and showing us all that you do. Loved you on Alone. I'm happy to see more of you.
thank you you have to be funny its the spice of life.
As a new subscriber, I'm binge watching your videos. When you said sometimes your plans are so secret you don't even know what you're doing, I spit my tea out. It's 4 am. here in Ontario ,and your cracking me up.😂
You're gonna hit 500k subs in no time
That was the best comment Greg! “Sometimes my plans are so secret that even I don’t know what I’m doing”!
It's so nice to see a cabin that has not been vandalized. Where I live, everything gets destroyed by Idiots.

I love your editor! He has a great sense of humor and it works well with your personality. He had me for about half a second on that they are sneaking up on you. Now onto blueberry pie in the bush!
Man Greg is a Legend man he is a true mountain man he is my GURU.
hell yes! a plant video. been waiting for you to do some of these. right on mam
I love this channel. Greg, your videos are so pure and honest. You're a great personality.
Greg, you're one of a kind. 👍
LOL, that bear sneaking up on you when you said you hope he doesnt sneak up on you was cool!
Luved it Greg... Couldn't believe there are hummingbird's there in the Rockiesof Canada! Beautiful, gorgeous should remain man free & just for the wilderness, & the pure soul of the Rockies & all that inhabit the magnificent place xx
That first one must have been the rare Rockies Mini Black Bear. Excellent footage through the video, thank you for taking us along. Best to you, Greg.
Really enjoy your stuff. You are real, which makes it all the more wonderful. I pray for Gods protecting hand over all your endeavours! God bless, Cheryl from Vancouver Island!
I got a start when I saw the bear enter near the cabin. Nice job editor. Thanks Greg for a great video. Keep them coming.
My husband just told me about ur channel been binge watching you *all* day!! Love what you are doing!
I love the humor, I like the plants but I really like your take on traps. Keep it coming
Perfect timing! Just sat down with my coffee
Greg, I grew up in the Rockies too...but a bit south of you in Colorado. I find your videos immensely entertaining, educational, and satisfying. Thanks so much for doing them. This is one of my favorites. By the way, the area near Steamboat Springs, CO was my grouse hunting ground. I loved to hunt but the grouse were always tough. On one of your recent videos you explained why. I’m 51 now! I never knew that!
yes you have to cool the meat a day or two.
I’m assuming you gut them first?
You have a great sense of humor Greg
11:03, that deer moss( old man's beard), behind you on the downed tree, is great for issues with your feet. Boil water, put it in the water, take off fire, step for at least 5 min. and wrap the moss on your feet, and wash them with the water, once cooled enough to use.
That bear crop was actually well edited great job!
I love all the videos Greg and have seen everyone of them good work and you’re a great teacher
Same here, best channel for me.

Now this is the video I have been dying to see! I took a break from the internet but I am back and catching up on your videos. I am really enjoying this video so far- I love plants and fungi. I started off by getting some Peterson Field guides for my area and since then I have been hooked. I grow mushrooms now, all types, and love to forage for plants too.
You sir are livin' the dream!! Thanks as always for sharing.
Gorgeous big bear, and only six minutes after you vacated that particular spot! whew! . And my garden is full of that viola tricolore, I didn't know you could eat it, so cool :-)) It's really nice to see all the things you show us! There's more to the wilderness than just "being there" :-)) Loving your vids! Happily anticipating the next one.
