- Double feature episode! Prickly_Angler and SuperViperT302 join us as expert guests of these two games. We talk a little history with Scramble being the predecessor of the Gradius series and cover the game quickly with a 1 credit clear run. However, Gradius is the main feature. We watch skalt711's Max Speed 1 credit clear run of the first and 3rd loops, to show the differences and of course we talk about how it's done. The commentary is rapid so listen up!

The fuel management aspect of Scramble reminds me of River Raid. I love it!
STG Weekly rocks! keep it up!
Great stuff!
Great stuff as always! Good job all involved.
I can also 1cc Scramble! And thats the only game ever featured on STG Weekly I can say that about :)
Don't think you guys touched on difficulty but are there any difficulty changes between Gradius and Nemesis? And is there any differences in the Bubble System version and the Konami GX400 version?
It's hard to find information on the internet about this as it seems that everyone is contradicting eachother.
edit:
44:45 you talk about differences between Gradius and Nemesis here. Nemesis (US) is harder but gives you powerup enemies on death
