Update: We broke up a few day after I posted this and he's still one of my best friends. It just wasn't working out with me being a very emotional person, and him wanting nothing but physical stuff. He kept on pushing me to have sex, and I would have to tell him 20 times a day that I'm not emotionally ready to go that far yet. So I ended it. He's a great friend, but a terrible boyfriend. For the entirety of our relationship, my anxiety and bipolar depression were relentless, and I always had my gaurd up because I was terrified of saying the wrong thing or betraying what I believed. After about a week or two, my anxiety started slowing down, and my depression wasn't as bad. I'm doing much better.
If any of you guys are in relationships (even friendships) that are hurting you, I urge you to please think about ending it. It will hurt for a while but I promise you it'll get much much better.
