Glory be to God! Thanks for the video, I live in West Texas, and the average temp June to August is 100 degrees. 1974 ford f100 460 83k original miles. Edelbrock 1406 carb vapor smell, vapor-locked today. mechanical fuel pump, do you think this solution will work for me?

It might help ! Another thought is to add a fuel return line. They make in-line fuel filters with an additional port to run a return like back to the tank. This keeps the fuel circulating through the cooler mass of fuel in the tank rather than just heat soaking up near the engine.
Hope this info helps! God bless!!

Thank you for the video! I plan on adding an electric pump on my 75 ford . Thing is this truck is dual tank. Do I place the pump before the tank selector valve? Or is this too far from the tank? Thank you and God bless.

Thanks for watching! Most electric fuel pumps like to push fuel, not pull so generally closer to the tank the better. With the dual tanks however, you have to put it after the tank selector valve in order for it to function while using either tank. On the truck in this video an electric pump was installed on the single outlet line from the selector, as close to the T as possible. Hope this helps. God bless !
