I found this video super interesting, and I've been looking for something like this to see how the drone behaves in this kind of situation. Imagine I activate the follow mode, take off the drone, and go into the water, just swimming a bit, without going too deep, and also diving, then coming up again. I'd love to see a test like this, but without a life jacket or anything, just as if I were diving like at the beach, going for a dive, to capture some good footage of a swim and a dive close to the shore. I would really like to see that test.
Very interesting. Have you tried to put on a polarized lens on the drone's camera before to make it follow you on water? The polarized lens uses to minimize the water glare interference when you wanna see what is in the water.
Great info. Would you be able to do a test using the remote control from a boat or jet ski please? Just to se if it is better using the remote. Thanks in advance.
I think the remote control will definitely work better.. unfortunately I didn't get the RC control. I wanted the least things to carry and though the Neo would be perfect.
Im really considering buying one to shoot rolling videos but I think I will wait it out. I could use it for some work videos too but it seems to be quite noisy and high pitched.
Unfortunately I don't have the RC control.. I didn't want to carry so much for the convenience and that's why I got the Neo. But it seems like I might have to get the RC control!

Another great and interesting test and again you had a luck 🍀 and Neo survived 👍 looking forward for next episode 😁👏
The Neo is ready to fight another day 😂
your neo tests are funny and unique at the same time. i wouldn't do this with my neo lol
Appreciate it! I guess not many people are doing water tests :)

I am waiting for the Hover X1 Max Pro.. It's been advertised to work on water so it might be the one for us kayakers!
Nice video and test! You should 100% take this to Scotland and actually find the Loch Ness monster 😎
I wouldn’t dare!
@@Fishaholicboy It can be done as long as you show the monster who's boss! ua-cam.com/users/shorts-g3jsGL-Ruw
I wonder if it would perform better with some ND and polarizing fillers?
I think that would be a good test..unfortunately I don’t have any of the filters
i just so curious, can we seal the bottom censor with cpl lenses when it fly above water😅, im sorry for my knowledges🙏
It’s a good idea but I don’t think it will work. I wouldn’t fly it without the bottom sensor.. it will probably go haywire!
does it work with the wind above the lake?
It depends on what you are using and the conditions… seems like using RC remote is the best way above water
@@Fishaholicboy will see. I tried without RC but it could not resist to the wind 🤷
I have only one thing to say about this video...
Bloody hope you tuck your mate for a beer after all the swimming he did for you.. Hehe
I don’t think he will go kayaking with me anymore 😂
@@Fishaholicboy 😁😁
👍💪
Thanks Jake!
can u try flying in water using the actual rcn3 remote
I have that setup and i am afraid to fly it over water even with the controller. I would love to see if i am worrying for nothing.
@@MikeNPeeGee maybe for a future video 😉

@@Fishaholicboy u should get one in the future 🔮
Yeah. Next time take a hairdryer and check if it works underwater.
haha!
Mi chiedo solo una cosa.... ma perché?!?....
Just for fun :)
shame the video quality is such garbage. it's like 720p.
If you have the RC remote, you can adjust the camera settings and it looks much better than the default settings
@@Fishaholicboy that defeats the purpose of an autonomus drone....like when i go "fishing". I don't have the time to set that up.
@ you’re right… it was my purpose too
