I was going to buy them till I read the Canadian price tag on them of $379
OPPSK is a very good budget brand. I have the wireless pars from them and they are great!
Nice. I would check out the Shehds wireless dongles instead of the donners. The Shehds ones last about 20 hours compared to about 8 at max for the donners. I love em.
Pricing has gone through the roof on these. They are over twice the price now, the value is no longer there. I received a quote of $434 for a 6 Pack bundle July 9th, 2023. Today that same order costs $933.

Hey, I wanted to ask something. With the new FLX10 coming out, I've looked at several of these tubes. It would seem pretty easy to set that up with the DMX out that the new pioneer controller has. But I would of course be limited to rekordbox lighting if I want to keep it simple. Have you ever tried these bar/tube/rail lights with rekordbox directly? I'm curious what four of these daisy chained together would look like in a minimalistic mobile DJ setup...
The other thing I wonder about is matrix lighting - I won't be able to use that in rekordbox lighting at all, right? Sry very new to this, but your vids have definately intrigued me to get into lighting!
I haven't tried rekordbox lighting yet. I've heard mixed reviews. You could definitely use these lights with it!

Great review although your camera needs to be set to manual focus and not auto. Also the link you posted goes to an unavailable product.
I hear you, my camera, the Sony A7C with a Tamron lense is actually really hard to switch between manual and auto haha it's buried in the menu. I checked all the links (being in the US) and all the links still work. But the oppsk light only has one left in stock. I'm sure they'll replenish it
Which is better according to the characteristics of Eurolite Led PR-100/32 Pixel DMX rail or OPPSK ? Where is the best scattering effect ? What would you choose ? Your opinion is important to me. I want to choose from these two Thank you?
My BIGGEST issue is that the stuff is on the side, not the back.
Why can't we use a small battery for each of them?
I don't disagree with you. I feel like it was noticeable close up, but not so much when it was dark and time to dance. I suppose you could use a battery!

You temporarily add one to your project lol. You create a new project with the "Save As" option so you don't mess anything up
Hey Daryl, I'm getting a couple of these to use with SoundSwitch. I'm currently using GrandMa2's external visualizer for SoundSwitch that you actually helped me set up thanks to another video. I can't seem to find a good fixture in GrandMa2 that matches the 2 stacks of 8 DMX profile on these lights. Do you possibly have a recommendation if you've used these with the visualizer?
I'd probably create my own fixture. I'd take a fixture that is similar and edit the XML, like maybe the chauvet colorband pix

I believe that the rental company still uses these sometimes. (They recently adopted the Chauvet ILS system and use that more often)

I ended up returning mine because it was too dim. I'm searching for a replacement with RGBWA LEDs (these are simple RGB).

Hello. Do these lights come with floor stands ?? If not what kind of stands do u recommend?
I like gravity stands, but those can be pricey. Speaker stands are an affordable alternative. Or you can try flat based mic stands
how hard do you think it would be to convert these to Battery powered!? Also, I'd like to know if you need to use the w-DMX module for the Alibaba lights too or do they just run off a Donner transmitter?
These just use the normal donner DMX. Technically you could use W-dmx transceivers but not required

@@JeffNeckonoff yes they are. I'm looking at other options. There's always normal speaker stands, they're only like $20. There's also truss and Rockville Totems.
Check out the Jusmo LS09 projector stand. It is only around 3 ft high fully extended but I added a 12 “ Gimbal extension to get it above 4ft.

I'm not sure what a U clamp is, but you can use normal clamps and speaker stands with these
