Rod here from Glotubes. Here to say that Both AND Astera are fantastic options. They each have their advantages.
We custom designed the Glotubes with our fabricator. We're not DMX, but our remotes use a POWERFUL RF signal. You get crazy range out of them. The battery life is solid, and it has a dedicated warm white LED diode.

Thanks for all the info you always share, but I think this vid should definitely show the differences between the lights... Most importantly, how bright they go... The build quality, differences between the dmx features... it's not about their feet... Maybe a lil demo too... But I digress. Respectfully

Dope Video Joe!! I've had my Titan Tubes for a couple of weeks now and im in love with them! I spent some time with them in soundswitch and finally came up with some really dynamic light shows for them that makes my DJ sets look INCREDIBLE!

just purchased the both titan tubes... the astera tubes too expensive and i bought some really cheap ones but they are crap! the both lights look incredible. Will be reviewing when i get them!

Been using Chauvet Freedom sticks for about 6 years. Different look, but people love them and they look great!

I started with Govee Stick lights because tubes were hard to find. Now they’re popping up like popcorn.
Its funny that I started using LED tubes back in 2016..They were hard to find...I still have 6 sets of my MARQ REZO tubes.

Joe, I got the GloTubes when you put out that video. Kids keep grabbing them and thinking that they are a light sabre to play with. Where do I get the stand & hardware to elevate them?? Who sells the products to attach them to a stand?

Thanks for the video and size comparison. I switched from the Ape Lab Sticks XL to the Asteras. The BOTH are dope, but wayyy to big for what I want to do. Good to see it on the video

@@SOLARBEARSTUDIOS brightness/throw and size of astera. I don’t use the pixel mapping (yet) but have them in sync with my uplights and wmx1
Anything that lines in and works with the ILS gig bar plus? I think I want to add four or six tubes.
These are super basic. No DMX.
I like the Spektrapix Batton ranges.
All are nice, but NLX is definitely not worth 5k if you ask me. I don't care what my budget is. The Both are way bigger, 360, and cheaper. Even if they go out, you could replace them 3 or 4 times and still be cheaper than the top brand. Easy pick for me. Just my opinion, thanks Joe!

Surely one of the most important metrics to judge a pixel tube is whether the LED engine is 8, 16 or 24bit.
Anything that's only 8bit should be immediately discounted in 2023, regardless of how affordable it it.
