I finally decided to build a CNC plasma table...I want to do this on a budget, so I will be using as much material that I have on-hand as possible, and hitting up the local scrap yards to see what I can use...The Y-Axis Belt Drive system gets designed!

You can see at min 8 the belt tension is bending the rollers couse they are too far up, Swap the pinion on the motor shaft upside down, this way your belt will be near the motor, you wont be needing spacers for the rollers, only a washer.

I been wanting to buy a table and all of a sudden I am watching DIY builds. Langmuir was the cheapest table at about $3700 shipped for a 4'x3' area. I don't mind building my own table just will take me longer to do research to build a 4x4 or larger platform.
