the CRAZIEST part of it, though, is that when i was there and on dating apps, most of my matches came from the Ft. Hood area about 40 miles to the South. It's a military town, there's a HUGE majority of single males because of the army base, but still the women in that town refused to date any of the soldiers there just because they were so plentiful. to them, any guy not a soldier or otherwise attached to the military economy there was "exotic" to a degree, and therefore much more desirable. it was crazy.
Polyamory is an adaptation of modern women. Here's the issue with shows like this. The points being made about how women view men and vice versa and the dating dynamics that come with that are very valid. When you have strippers, porn stars, OF girls and nothing close to an average or even above average women to discuss valid topics like this, you really are doing viewers and your credibility a disservice.

I work with average age below average women who literally say things like "if he ain't making bank, I got no use for him". There are women who are sometimes fat, sometimes old, sometimes ugly, sometimes any combination of these things. There's only one decently attractive woman I work with, and in less than a year, she'd slept with AT LEAST 4 coworkers that we know of. And she's maybe a 6.75/10. And she openly talks about how she's better than every man we work with, including the ones she slept with.
So yes, IRL, average women actually prove this point even further. This is how ALMOST ALL women under 45 in America think. And keep in mind, I'm in a small rural Christian town in a red state where supposedly "all the good girls are at". Nope. It's exactly the same out here. No different than a big city. If she's American, she's the same as other Americans. Period.

Me and my wife brushed over this topic many years ago, very early into our relationship. I can NOT remember how she responded to it. Since I can't remember, it must have been a No Way because anything other than, I'm confident I would have remembered. I told her it would sound like fun leading up to it but I would fear my reaction and feelings afterwards - knowing there's a 95% chance I would regret it, ultimately putting our relationship through an unnecessary situation we THOUGHT we could handle. Once it's done, it's done and there's no coming back from it. The risk is not worth any short term reward.
There’s something Michael and rollo are way off base on - I have a phd in mathematics and must say that not every invention or progress has been made by men in an effort to attract women. My phd was motivated exclusively by my internal passion for truth, knowledge, understanding, and discovery. I work in the trades. I make over a 100k a year. I'm single and no kids and I'm in decent shape. And I wouldn't date any of these women , Who wants to be with somebody who doesn't care if you have other people? People's morals are stupid nowadays
But who cares how you're perceived if you're only concern is to not be robbed.
