The red astartes / spacemarines are most likely the sons of Sanguinius called The Blood Angels. The green astartes you are referring to are most likely the Salamanders spacemarine chapter.

18:44 - The red-haired aliens are members of the Eldar race (essentially space elves). They are one of the types of Aspect Warriors. In particular, they are called "Howling Banshees". The idea is that their masks release a scream that is capable of stunning an opponent (in the past this basically meant that in the first round of melee combat they were always going to strike first) and their swords are capable of cutting through armor like paper. Their heads aren't really that long, either. It's mostly helmet. 19:28 - Another Eldar. In this case either a ranger. They are snipers that rely heavily on cover in order to survive. Caught out in the open and, well, you see how well that worked out for him. 19:32 - Yet another Eldar. This aspect warrior is called a warp spider. Considering it has the blades it would be the Exarch, which is basically a squad leader. Eldar lead very structured lives since they feel emotions to a higher degree then humans and this can lead to ... err... problems if left unchecked (to put it bluntly, they became so debased at one point that they accidentally murder-fucked a Chaos God into existence and it is now devouring their souls). Most Eldar will dedicate themselves to an Aspect (think martial art) in order to find stability. These aspects each have a different style of combat and when used correctly can be absolutely devastating in play. For instance Howling Banshees are good at taking down armored targets like space marines, Fire Dragons are anti-tank infantry, Dark Reapers focus on long range combat with heavy weaponry, and Warp Spiders are fast "jump" infantry that generally work better on lightly armored targets (their weapons fire filaments that can cut flesh easily enough but can't penetrate armor). These are just a few of the types of aspect warriors, mind you. 21:04 - That is a Tyranid creature called a "Lictor". They are creatures that are sent ahead of a 'nid swarm to help find planets for them to devour. They are *very* good at getting around unseen.

That ‘round’ in the space marines head that you notice at 18:50 is what’s called a service stud. They are something that space marines wear that indicate how many years they have served so far (being a space marine is obviously a lifetime commitment). There are different colors that mean different amounts of time and the exact number of years a color represents will vary from chapter to chapter. Most individual studs signify 50 or 100 years of service per stud.
The guys with the sniper looking guns were just the basic soldiers of the imperium of man. They have a lasgun (however thats spelled) which can punch through solid concrete really easily. But thats one of the weakest guns. And the zombie guys are corrupted space marines and other races. They belong to the warp god Nurgle (Nurgle loves you)
So Just To let you know the “Scouts” you Talked about are Imperial Guards And I’ll explain them. Their basic Foot soldiers for the imperium and Aren’t that super But they look cool here.
10:07 That is an Imperial Guardsman, they're the regular foot soldiers of the Imperium and are drafted from countless worlds. Their guns fire lasers that can decapitate someone, yet they are still considered to be flashlights compared to most weapons. Also, the ones in the Dawn of War 2 trailers were the Aeldar/Eldar/Space Elves, and the big Cthulu monster was a tyranid (I forgot what that specific type was called tho :/).
The zombie looking things are Plague Bearers, Daemons of the Chaos God Nurgle. The one with the minigun was actually a Hellbrute, a Chaos Marine that has been interred in the lifesaving Sarcophagus of a Dreadnought. Normally considered an honor by loyalists, those who have fallen to Chaos consider it to be a torturous hell (And for good reason, that thing is meant to be pure tech, but if you look closely you can see a good chunk of it is actually flesh). The guys getting annihilated at around 12:30 are what looks to be Karskins, or possibly Inquisitorial Storm Troopers, both are elite Guardsman units, they're considered well equipped by most standards, with carapace armour and hotshot lasguns that can punch through even powered armour like what is worn by Astartes.
The little recon/scout troops you lined from the Inquisitor trailer are called Militarum Tempestus Scions, they're basically special forces for the regular imperial military, the non-space marine guys

@@scorchprimethewalkingwarcrime What... Does the Mouse have to do with anything? GW started to change names to "easily copyrightable nonsense" pretty damn long time ago.
@@nemamiah7832 I will be honest, I’m practically brain dead at the moment and haven’t slept since yesterday, so I can’t come up with an answer at this time
The trailer didn't show off their skills very well. Since they are supposed to be as skilled as you can possibly get as an ordinary human.
Redhead aliens are Howling Banshee's , a melee/cqc unit of the Eldar faction
every factions gotta have a unit that screams REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE at the enemy
Beware the ginger eldar.
That race you said what are those on is actually Eldar AKA elf bois
Space elves
"Gaunt's Ghost" highly recommended series by this Devil Dog, Oorah.
"Does he need that many cannons?" straight faced recalling the horrors of tyranids. "Yes."
"I kind of like the tau" ....a'ight, I'mma head out.(just ribbing, mate)
Right when I heard it I was like “this mfr”
Space Marine is one of the best 40K games we’ve had tbh
I know right. That trailer he was watching was using a potato for a gpu. Looked way better on pc
@@EpicMogi there’s also that, that trailer uses an early version of the game that doesn’t feature Titus, or that at least seems to be the case
Him: oh I’m such a noob when it comes to these things
The rest of us: HERETIC!!!
The term 'grim, dark' comes from Warhammer 40k. "In the grim, dark future, there is only war." -and hammers.
power hammers that is
RM: sci-fi... but with some fantasy
wh40k: its just religion, mate....
"This is so confusing but cool and I love it!" Yep that's Warhammer.
It's all true, all the lies, all the truths, all the corrections, its all true. Especially the lies, for in their deceit is the only kernel of truth you will find in this misbegotten universe.
But seriously, GW's policy is that everything is true, even and specially all the retconns as it represents someone finding a piece of evidence that changes how things are seen. And seeing how convoluted the Imperial Archives are, this happens all the time to the point that no one really knows what is and isn't at any given time.
Someday we will watch SPACEMARINE Reacts To Warhammer 40k, brothers!
He slowly becoming one of the Emperor sons join BROTHER
"How many cannons? How many cannons?"
Everyone thinks that at first when they discover 40K. Then you find out that isn't even a max level ship....
5:50 One thing that really conveys that signature fantasy feel is the gothic architecture and design that is so iconic in the Imperium.
Is Warhammer 40K, spaceships are war churches basically, and each need about a million plus people to crew them
That's just Imperial ships that carry the large, gothic cathedral style.
And at least 3 guns, a shrine, and a servo skull for every last one of those million.
yeah not all of them maybe the emperor class ones but alot of that will probably be fighting troops its mostly the navigators and the mechanicus that handles the driving but id imagine you would need a few hundred thousand maybe more to operate the guns and do repairs most ships don't require that many like space marine ships they gotta be able to go fest and dodge enemies emperor/imperator class I think both names are correct classifications are the biggest ships except ark mechanicus ships that were made before the imperium existed, emperor class ships are something like 12 miles long each
"Is it worth playing? (Dawn of War III)"
no...dawn of war 1? yes.
Makes me want to cry everytime I see the difference between how awesome dow3 trailer is and how bad the actual game is
The night lords omnibus is really good read imo
“Why hasn’t warhammer been made into a tv show?”
HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU
"How many cannons does it need?!"
All of them.
"Thats a cool ship! How does it take off?"
It doesnt. Its built directly in space.
Huh, I'm missing the Battlefleet Gothic trailers.
Also space hulk
And Dawn of War 1.
Dude should watch the Battlefleet Gothic: Armada - Launch Trailer. One of the best depictions of 40K space battles IMO
"It is better to die for the Emperor than live for yourself!"
9:45 that is a Plaguebearer the lowest rank of daemon that serves the Chaos god Nurgle. Nurgle is the chaos god of rot, decay, desease and fear/hopelessness. Those in the background you see are called Tempestus Scions.13:35 the old dude you see there are either an astropath/sanctioned psyker/navigator.16:59 that is a Necron, more specifically a Necron overlord with a ressurection orb and warscythe. 19:05 those are called Banshees. 19:42 that is a warp-spider, just like the banshees this an elven warrior. 20:52 that is a tyranid, that breed specifically i think a lector which serves as a terroriser and assasin.
as for the blue astartes they are most likely, due to their iconography, sons of Guilliman called Ultramarines. The red astartes / spacemarines are most likely the sons of Sanguinius called The Blood Angels. The green astartes you are referring to are most likely the Salamanders spacemarine chapter.
Human: "How many cannons does it need? Does it need that many cannons!"
Me: I think there's not enough cannons if you ask me.
7:35
"does it need that many canons!?!?"
Me: *Angry inquisitor noises*
Always love watching people discover and get into Warhammer! Any intention on reacting to the "Every single Warhammer 40k (WH40k) Faction Explained" videos, fantastic two videos? :O
Part 1 - ua-cam.com/video/xCGKPRiJp84/v-deo.html
Part 2 - ua-cam.com/video/Y6jnsX77TCU/v-deo.html
"How many cannons does it need?" That is not enough cannons in all honesty.
9:01 My poor Grey Knight brother may the God-Emperor bless his soul

Battlefleet gothic armada 2 is also brilliant (space turn base rts game)
Orks in this are fungus created by an extinct lizard man race called the old ones
those orks at the start... gives me shivers. made me smile seeing you enjoy all the elements that make up 40k. its fucking fantastic.the "scouts" are humans, organic zombie guys are nurgle. guy with tatts on his face is an inquisitor.
"How many cannons does he need"
Not enough.
There's a video which explains all about warhammer 40k in a nutshell and the table top. The channel call bricky
I would like to advise you watch the videos: “every warhammer factuon explained” by bricky. You’ll get a lot more info on who each of these groups are and the universe itself. The videos are a bit long but it may be good for you and it’s deffinetly entertaining.
Their basic Foot soldiers for the imperium and Aren’t that super But they look cool here.
and they hold the line damned. against demons, ork , space marine weaboos and even BUGS
Would not mind seeing some wh40k games on this channel

"How many cannons does it need?"
Yes.
WHAT!? THEY CUT THE MECANICUS CLIP SHORT!!! HE DIDN'T SAY THE LAST SENTENCE!!!
In the grim darkness of the far future there is only war . . .
Luke" this is very grim and dark"
Haha
It's one of if not the originator of the term
watching the obsession slowly take over brings so much joy to my heart! welcome brother. the Emperor protects.
"there's so many different peoplpe"
bro, you have no idea...
There is one more game you got to check out called Darktide.
Quick! Drag him into the cathedral and bring out Inquisitor Martyr, he will be made into one of the Emperor's finest!
