Hey so im actually majoring MIS(Management Information System) and I have done three internships already two in IT and one in Data analytics. My plan is to get one more internship possibly Finance if not Accounting. I wanna go into finance and become either a financial analyst. Do you think with my background that this would be a easy thing for me to do?😊
Hi Harpreet! I definitely think data analytics and finance/accounting go hand to hand. Data analytics is a core pre-requisite in Finance related roles as you need to first construct the data to analyze the business's operations. If you desire to go into finance, your background will help you a lot!
How long are you in Financial Analyst Career? can you share tips for a man who has a bachelors in petroleum engineering, 3+ working experience in sales, engineering and real estate. Do I need to get a Masters degree in finance or I am good with online courses or online CFA exams idk where to start :D
Hi, I would definitely say so. I think this applies to all industries, but most of the learning comes from on the job rather than your education. Having a strong business background will definitely help you along the way.
Wow bro, don't you have like loads of work to do as an analyst besides going to the gym. Me personally heard that the job your doing is hards work and takes up the hours each day. Some people struggle and quit because of that.
