  • A Digitech whammy 4 demo; sound clips/audio of the pitch shifting pedal. No talking for the playing part; just going through all the settings; harmonies, chorus, pitch modulation; with some light-ish AC/DC style overdrive as a reference tone.

    Will be posting a more in depth review on the 4th Gen whammy pedal sound with opinions if you want more details: • Whammy Pedal & Freak S...
    I really like this pedal, there's more to it than just weird noises, but it really benefits from a bit of creative exploration; like actually "playing" as if it's a toy, rather than trying to play guitar in the traditional sense. Well, that's how I found the stuff I like about it best anyway.
    The bulk of the video is just audio clips; to give a solid idea of what the patches do and sound like. I've come across too many demos of an effects pedal where you don't get to hear the pedal in question and just get a review, or worst case scenario are just read a press release. Having said that, sometimes in depth reviews and more specific playing in really handy, sothat's why I've done a video like that as well :)

    Very cool pedal, how much would a second hand one cost would you assume?

      Yeah, I think it's a great pedal! I'd guess around £100, maybe between $95 - $130 or thereabouts?

    Are you using the wet or dry output Port on the left side of the pedal?

    • @JbfMusicGuitar
      @JbfMusicGuitar  3 роки тому

      Think I probably used the wet here; the dry wouldn't have any of the whammy effect on it- you'd just get the sound of the guitar, without pitch shifting

      @@JbfMusicGuitar thanks. I just bought one and was trying to figure out why I had no effects ( had it plugged into the dry path). . The dry path seems a bit pointless.

      @@KKMDStyle Yeah, I'm not sure what it's for!
      I suppose if you wanted to spilt the signal, or take a dry DI one to reamp? Glad you got it sorted out, hope you find some cool new sounds with it!
