Hi The Breeze ! I'm glad you liked it ! It's an awesome track 😁 To be honest with you, I did try several designs before I got to this one. The long straights and banked curves made this design very fast and exciting 😎 The track size or "footprint" is about 27-FT long and 7.5 -FT wide so it actually pretty compact considering how much track was used. I can watch the video and the cars racing around the track for hours ... lol 😁 Thanks again ! 👍
@@CoolCollected Thank You. I watch videos of the tracks everyday. I own an analog track, but we are space challenged in my home. I dream of the day when i can acquire my dream track and the room to set it up permanently. Of all the tracks i see, I keep coming back to yours. There is something so undeniably "Bad Ass" about it. I think it is the super straight away on top. It appears as if the cars slow down on the big bank turn and the super straight away. Is that the case or an optical illusion?? Anyway, I dream of owning a set like yours. You did a super job.
@@thebreeze8443 I'm glad you liked it. 😁 Yes ! that is my favorite part too the long straight run on top. It's so cool when 2 cars are racing side-by-side there full speed. I don't remember if the cars slow down there... I think that was before I added a power tap to that part of the track. Also, sometimes if the track connectors are not making a good connection you may get a power drop is some sections. I think I had to add more track connector clips and a power tap after I shot that video. I never thought I would be able to build a track that long... I started with one set, then bought another, then another... and it kept getting better. I think this was my best setup; not too big, not too small. Thanks again ! 👍
Outstanding video, outstanding track.......how in the heck did you dream this up. I'm new to slot car world about a year now. I just built my 4th track, trying to come up with something everyone likes. I have a couple of grand kids (boys). But anyway I have 4 4/15 high banked curves on my track. take care
You can see them in this video, but I have 2 power taps. I had 3 before, but I noticed that the 2 was enough so I removed the 3rd when I redesigned the track. @ 5:28 you can see a black wire under the black carpet between the BMW car and Gold Trophy. I hid it under the black carpet so you can only see a small part of it. The other one you can't see at all but it is located by the 2 straights close to the wall on the other side of the track. I did not use the carrera wires, I just got some black cable from home depot, cut it, connected under the track and held it with some tape and hot glue.
Only one power supply that comes with the track. I did add a couple of power taps to distribute the power a little better..not sure if I mentioned them on this video or the "tips" video. As for the lights, they use their own power supply I mentioned on the description... see links: LED light it with power plug: amzn.to/2I6hUAB LED Connector Kit: amzn.to/2Gl3JFQ LED Channel mount and cover: amzn.to/2te7Nzh Thank you for your comments.
I am in love with this track, Cool!! How long and wide is the set up. I plan to build a similar one. Your creativity is amazing with this lay out.

Nice track! Wish I had enough space for such long straights to reach high speed. Good job!
I tried several different designs and this layout was the most compact and fastest... Thanks for watching Mike.

Hi Tyler ! started with a small track and just kept expanding it lol 😁 I do love the banked curves, they make the track much faster 👍 Thanks !👍
Sieht klasse aus diese Strecke!
Thank you

@@CoolCollected Just 2??? O.o Is there no lack of energy running with 4 or 6 cars?
@@GiulianoAlmeida You'll probably need more for that many cars, I ususally only run 3 cars and I don't have any problems.
Awesome track! curious if that is run off of 1 power supply? A seperate power source for the lighting ?
