I bought an airbrush years ago. I enjoyed the resultant finishes. Then spray cans started becoming sophisticated and offered more colors and better results. I still have the results but not the hassle of prepping before spraying and cleaning the equipment afterwards.
@@vincentsadan1938 BINGO!..... I bought a $200 (around that. I think) spray gun 4 Years ago.... Haven't used it ONCE. Far too involved. It takes the Fun right out of it. EVERYTIME you change a color... The Prep, The Clean up. I feel Very guilty about Not using it though.... like I'm not giving the kit the best I can give it even though I believe my results are Quite Satisfactory.
This brought back some memories. 👍🏼 Was doing this 25 years ago. But using an airbrush and real automotive paints and clear. At the time, Johnny Lightning wheels were what we used. There were a few of us selling our creations on eBay, until Mattel started cracking down. One of my favorites to make was the milk truck. Customize it with a flip hood front end. Fun times 😎
That is one gorgeous classic Camero. I always been a fan of classics. Beautiful paint job and the lines are super clean. Absolutely love the tires on the car. That Camero belongs on the showroom floor
Glad you liked it! Thank you. Oh, I love 69 Camaro. In my opinion 69 camaro is the most beautiful camaro ever. I will make some 69 camaro restomod in this year.
That's one gorgeous peace of art not to many people know how to do something like that you one talented person i will give you twenty stars for a job very well done ok
❤ that os a gorgeous paint job, and detailing. I am a Ford fella, but this is the one Chevy I have always had a little thing for. Fantastic work, thanks for sharing your talent 😊
" I used to watch this guy from Australia fix up cars on his UA-cam channel. (I wont mention his name ) Now , i discovered you and looking forward to seeing your skilled craft as you turn vehicles back to life!" 👍🏆🇺🇸
Except the bumblebee is more a 67 thing. It was offered early in 68, but it transitioned to the hockey stick stripe. The hockey would have been a better representation of a 68.
Good job. Patience and skill. What was funny for me was when the paint was completely removed, it looks like a mini-version of my GF’s neighbour’s ‘68 Camaro. He just leaves it like that.
I have a boatload of first season hotwheels that my wife and her brother split that was found in their parents garage. If I had the money, I would send them to you to make them look snazzy again.
Me buddy! I just stumbled across this video. Some nice work which then Led me to thinking about two I have that I would love to see born again. One's a 57 Chevy I got as a child. Has immense sentimental value and the other is the General Lee. I may just attempt such an endeavor. Thanks.
That car in that condition was worth $200k. Good job Richard! Actually I made that up but wouldn’t that be something if it was one of the many desirables. lol

Love the finish..i must say you got really steady hands with those detail work..i hope you can give us some ideas on making side mirrors specially for classic american muscle cars..thanks in advance..👌
Wasn’t a factory hood. Looks representative of what the super car builders used (Baldwin Motion, Nickey Chevrolet, etc) on the 427 conversions they built/sold.
Customs are very cool, but every now and then there’s nothing like a good ol fashioned restoration.😊
Thank you my friend 😊
Totally agree.
I kinda liked the way it looked before any work was done
I still, have a 67 Firebird in the box and the monopoly Camaro in the box as well. I had a 67 Firebird that I drove.
@@mgxmaddguiness7066 awesome!👏 😎
It’s nice to see someone customizing hot wheels again.
Some of us never got tired of it.
The amount of details you put in on this car shows up in the final result. It looks great.
Thank you my friend 😊
I actually really like the fact that you used spray cans instead of an air brush not everyone has one so it's nice to see how nice this came out .
Yes, I'm too lazy to use airbrush system 😁
Right. That's alot of $for just a hobby.
@TolleGarage I agree. Then you have to cleaning and everything and what if you don't use it all that much.

Thank you so much Scott ☺️☺️
Nothin’ like a CamEro. Indeed. :sigh:
The designer of the Camaro was just spot on. Its like the perfect car IMO.
Thank you my friend 😊
It's a beast , In Australia we think the A9X Torana is the nicest.
That customization of the Camaro looks amazing!! I actually had a’67 Camaro in that color scheme. Great job!
Thank you my friend 😊
67 camaro is a legendary casting, many people collecting that car.
That’s actually a ‘68. You can tell by the shape of parking lights, tail lights, and the lack of the side vent windows. 👊
Just absolutely amazing restoration.
Stunning restoration! Love the color and wheels! 👊❤
Thank you so much my friend!
Beautiful! Thank you for not having annoying music!
I had a real 1969, back in the late 1970s, but it had a frame problem, and went through tires
Glad you liked it! Thank you.

Do you have any ideas for Ford project? Maybe I could make it.
@TolleGarage have you already did a custom on a Ford Maverick?
That turned out so well. I wasn’t sure about the wheels but the color of the car really makes them look great.
Thanks so much! 😊
Excellent work! Brings me back to restoring my beat up HWs.
