    Hope you all are doing great, today I am with a mouth watering recipe of നല്ല നാടൻ തട്ടുകട style ചിക്കൻ കപ്പ ബിരിയാണി!!!!!
    ചാനൽ ഇഷ്ടപെട്ടാൽ സബ്സ്ക്രൈബ് ചെയ്യാനും ബെൽ ബട്ടൺ പ്രസ് ചെയ്യാനും മറക്കല്ല എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു ❤️🙏
    Ingredients
    Tapiocca (കപ്പ) - 0.5 kg
    Chicken - 300 gm
    Coconut Oil (വെളിച്ചെണ്ണ) - 2 Tablespoons
    Ginger (ഇഞ്ചി) - 2-inch piece
    Garlic (വെളുത്തുള്ളി) - 12 cloves
    Green Chilli (പച്ചമുളക്) - 2
    Shallots (ചെറിയ ഉള്ളി) - 40-50, sliced
    Tomato-1 , sliced
    Salt (ഉപ്പ്) - 3½ teaspoons
    lemon juice- 3/4th Table spoon
    Coriander Powder (മല്ലിപ്പൊടി) - 2 teaspoon
    Chilli Powder (മുളകുപൊടി) -1+Tsp +2 teaspoons
    Turmeric Powder (മഞ്ഞള്‍പൊടി) - ½+½ teaspoon
    Garam Masala - 1½ teaspoons + 1 teaspoon
    Water (വെള്ളം) - ½ to 1 cup (250 ml)
    Mustard Seeds (കടുക്) - ½ teaspoon
    Pepper Corns - 5-7 nos
    Fennel seeds-1/2Tsp
    Curry Leaves (കറിവേപ്പില) - as needed
    Pepper Powder (കുരുമുളകുപൊടി) - 2 teaspoons
    Preparation Steps
    1. Preparing the Chicken:
    Clean and cut the chicken into small pieces, include bone pieces as well cut into small pieces
    Marinate the chicken with:
    1 teaspoons pepper powder
    1 teaspoons chilli powder
    ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
    ½ teaspoon salt
    ½ teaspoon- ginger garlic & chilli crushed
    lemon juice- 3/4th Tablespoon
    Combine all the ingredients along with chicken and mix nicely. Set aside for 30 minutes.
    2. Cooking the Tappioca(കപ്പ):
    Peel, clean, and chop the Tapioca into small pieces.
    Cook the Tapiocca in a pressure cooker with enough water and ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder, salt, and curry leaves
    Let it cook for 2 whistles or until soft. Drain and set aside.
    3. Preparing the Masala:
    Heat 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in a pan.
    Add mustard seeds and let them splutter, add peppercorn and fennel seeds
    Add sliced shallots and sauté until golden brown.
    Add ginger, garlic, and green chilies (finely chopped) and sauté until the raw smell disappears.
    Add the remaining masala powders (1 teaspoon coriander powder, 2 teaspoon chili powder,1 teaspoon garam masala, 2 teaspoons pepper powder,1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder). Sauté well until the raw smell is gone.
    Once the masala is cooked, add the sliced tomato and give it a good mix , add some water cover the lis, and cook until the tomato is smashed nicely.
    Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until the chicken is tender and coated with the masala. Cooking is needed for 15-20mins according to the chicken. Once the chicken starts to extract the water add ½ -1 cup of water if needed.
    4. Combining Tapioca and Chicken:
    Add the cooked and mashed Tapioca to the chicken masala.
    Mix thoroughly so that the chicken and masala coat the Tapioca evenly.
    Add some onion, curry leaves, chilli to it along with 1/2 Teaspoon of garam masala and pepper powder
    Cook for another 10 minute in low flame, adjust the consistency
    Here you have nothing less than a mouth watering Kappa Biriyani which you can make anytime even to surprise your guest :)
