- Founding member of the Grateful Dead Phil Lesh celebrates his 84th birthday with the Phil Lesh Quintet ft. Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring, Rob Barraco, and John Molo live from The Capitol Theatre.
Brings back a lot of memories from early 2001-2003 on tour. 🙏
Beautiful musicianship...thank you Phil, Warren, Jimmy, Rob....love hearing John Molo on drums.
Nothing better when it comes to Phil and Friends than the original Q!! Phew tonight was really like they never stopped touring. It was that great. The setlist was smokin and they had everyone shakin it throughout the whole night. Everyone played incredibly and they really took you on a journey of great songs played with awesome dynamics as well as going super high energy. Warren and Jimmy were particularly next level! Different styles that actually fit perfectly together. Seriously seamless! A beautiful performance from beginning to end. Thanks for posting this.
What a great song! Still sounds so fresh!!!
🎉Happy 84th Bday, Phil ♒️ ✨️Keep on Truckin✌️😘🤗👍

Every show I attended back in the day lalways tried to make my way to the Phil zone loved his bass style and his voice was very authentic. "Just like TomThumb blues think.i caught that one at Buckeye lake OH
Flew back east from NorCal for the Q, thanks all for the real good time, Phil much love and continued good health. And just FYI, Peter Frampton sits through his whole show these days, nothing wrong with that!

Anytime you get to enjoy Warren Haynes and Jimmy Herring on the same stage, you're witnessing two of the most underrated, versatile, and talented guitarists of all time.

Wowza
It's John Molo
Great, really, but Warren ought to give Jimmy some wide open space to soar in now and then…
Is Warren reading lyrics?

@@thejamnasium6447 He looks good!
Crowd sucks
Why is that?
The crowd was dancing their asses off the whole show. Including me. Don't judge what's impossible for you to know watching on a couch.
In what way?
