That’s a great box for IPTV and the 100’s of movie apps! Excellent hardware and yes, your recommendations on the updates make sense! Awesome stuff and thanks again. ❤
Professional job as usual. I had one of these a few years ago. I loved it until I couldn't use it to use Hulu. It burned up when I played a game for about an hour. It looks like they fixed some things.
After connecting an i7 desktop with discreet graphics and 32GB of RAM to the TV as my "Multimedia box" using LibreELEC, I realized I don't even watch TV or movies on it. Come to think of it, I don't even have a couch 🤔 still, I like the technology of these small devices and how convenient they are.
ffffffff, i was hoping thios would be THE box to use with truehd )+ atmos) to use.. but it fails -.- mainly looking for something that can do truehd + atmos and dts:x, any ideas? i'de prefer AV1 decoding as well, or i could just pickup i shield pro i guess if i skip AV1.
I don't understand why would anyone need a navigation/status bar on an android tv box ? these boxes are designed to be used with a remote on a big screen not with a mouse/keyboard on a 15" monitor guys... come on that is just bizarre!! you both are really not enjoying the experience here at all. I have been using these boxes since MK808 running Android 4.2 back in 2012 and I am currently enjoying ATV11 that came built-in on my 60" 4K TV and during all this time I have NEVER felt the need of nav/stat bar not even for 1 second...
This is a powerful cable model but if you're looking for unique features check the one in my next video. Be sure to subscribe it will be released either today or tomorrow.
That is easy you simply install a blank Kodi from the Google play store. Then you install the backup add-on from the default program add-on repository and if you have a backup of your add-ons you can restore using this add-on. Go to my blog at tvboxstop.com for more information on the menu bar.
When I refer to 32bit it simply means how most apps were developed using certain graphics details and system requirements needed to run them. 32bit was the older standard, now there's a 64bit which is the new standard that delivers higher graphics and demands more system resources from your CPU, GPU and RAM. Hence the reason there are certain apps you can find on your mobile phone that has a snapdragon CPU, and you cannot find it on the play store on a TV Box such as this one running the sea mobile version. Reason being the play store recognizes that the boxes hardware cannot support these 64bit high graphics apps and Games, so It hides them from the list preventing you from installing the. If you purchase a box such as the Ugoos UT8 all these is 64bit apps will not be available on the play store because that box as a 64bit architecture. I hope I make sense to you.
X96 X9 instead more powerful than the X96 X for this one has a hexa core CPU that's six cores, and the X96 X for as four cores. ua-cam.com/video/eKYUlrfOyhI/v-deo.html
The game will install, however the box is not rooted so gamepad keymapping apps will not work for you to assign touchscreen functions to mouse and gamepad buttons
Great Job as always 👍🏻 I want to buy a TV box with Google certificate; which one do you think is better Mecool km2 Plus 2GB/16GB or HAKOMiNi model; 4GB/32GB I see they both using CPU Amlogic S905Y4 Quad-core 64-bit?
Which ever delivers to your location because they are basically the same. But I am a little biased to Mecool. They also have the best housing and cooling design to date. So the boxes will last longer.
2 minutes in so far so good lol adaptive hdr 4k @ 60. Dolby v. Cec. Dolby atmos. If. It works. 😅. Gigabyte more importantly. It’s gotta b over 100$ right ? 4/32gb. Ddr4
If you attempt to play a free fire on octopus the app will either block you or suspend you. The only keymapping apps authorized to play free fire the panda mouse Pro, and the panda gamepad Pro. However, those apps will not work on this box because they need root access. So it's not a word trying to play free fire on this box.
That's one way you can do it, but in a real-life application most people don't want a laptop opened in front of the televisions to play 4K. The preferred instrument device with a dedicated remote control that can handle 4K. If I was to apply a PC I would go for a NUC instead of a laptop.
@@tvboxstop nucs are too expensive for the specs. A laptop can be used with the lid closed in many cases... you just have to be aware if you shut down the laptop you will need to open the lid to start it up again. The important thing is to change power setting to not go into stabdby with the lid closed... setting to do nothing.
@@tmc8080 I understand what you're saying right, it's very straightforward to understand. However I was referring to its practical application when suggesting it to someone to use it to play 4K videos on their big-screen TVs. Most viewers who engage in 4K video playback want a device that can set it neatly below or behind your TV with a remote control with a can access files on external storage or on their Nas server. Of course most of them would have a desktop or laptop in their home that can already do that and can connect to live TV but that's not the solution they are looking for. So while I appreciate your common sense cost effective approach to playing 4K videos, I don't think most viewers would apply it.
It's pretty lame to see “high end” TV boxes limited to 32 bit operating systems (without arm64-v8a ABIs), considering that their SoC chips are 64 bit capable; shame on them. 64 bit code improves performance because at a machine level permits the use of 64 bit architectural improvements. To me, this means that whoever is in charge of bringing these boxes to market is MISERABLE. In fact, the only (arm) TV boxes which so far I have found with 64 bit support are the ones based on the RK3566 and RK3588 chips, likely just because of their 8 GiB RAM configurations (32 bit addresses can only map 4 GiB maximum, 2³² = 4294967296 bytes). This is a dickheaded attitude, in my honest opinion.
Bro I hear everything you say, I have vented this concern many times over and could never get a good reason for wasting the capability of 64-bit hardware by installing 32-bit. Okay so I don't mind they installing 32-bit, but later on release 64-bit version at a higher price or something. I am only sorry that custom firmware developers are not active these days to produce alternative firmware.

Some of them also lack full Google Play services integration. For a complete TV box to fit your requirements, I do not have a recommendation. There are powerful boxes but to use with your touchscreen monitor it will only be able to display via regular HDMI not use the touchscreen function.
This is a great release with high-performance, I only wish that it's operating system could update to the latest Android🤓
I can confirm with what you are saying, however trying to convince people that Android 9 is better proved to be problematic.

I appreciate that
I never understand why not at least give an option for navigation/status bar. Is it really that difficult to add?
