The end of the latest Resident Evil can play out in two different ways. Depending on your choice, here's what you may have missed out on.
It's confirmed... Capcom doesn't know how to make hair. What? someone had to say it.

Zoe is actually using Ethan to get out of there, same with other Bakers' victims, you can see she's been "helping" other victims too to get out of there but all of them but Ethan was the only one that made it

FilmGamer It's possible to get your leg chopped off and you can put it on again using the First-Aid Med. The reason why you can just put it back on is Ethan is also infected, hence why Jack said to him "Welcome to the family". 'Family' is another term for being infected by Eveline's 'Gift'. Ethan has regenerative abilities and so does the Bakers and Mia.

It's the voice, Ethan called the real Chris but Umbrella might have been tracking the call. The "Redfield" isn't the Chris you called.
BTW, there will be a free DLC called "Not A Hero" which stars this "Redfield" so it's safe to say, this isn't Chris Redfield.

Mia was possessed. Zoey gave horribly vague directions and hid the whole time. Plus the whole purpose was to find your wife.

I chose her because I felt bad that she knew I was going to pick Mia. I picked her cause she did help and tried to help both her and Mia. Mia was just trying to kill me and hid stuff from Ethan from her organization. At least Zoe was honest lol
Zoe did hide stuff and was horribly vague. Mia tried to kill you BECAUSE SHE WAS POSSESSED as in had no control. It's not hiding things if her work forbids her from talking about it with an NDA. My sister works are a federal job and she told me she can't say ANYTHING about what she does without being fired and possibly prosecuted. Doesn't mean she is hiding it from me.

By that point we knew Mia was some how involved, plus she'd stabbed Ethan with a screw driver and cut his hand off with a chainsaw, not someone I'd want to get in a little boat with. But Zoe was not only helpful but willing to take Mia along on the escape despite what she'd done to Zoe's family. I just had a better feeling about her and found it very unfair that you get a bad ending for not choosing nepotism.

Actually, Ethan initially went there to see what happened to Mia, but after all the batshit crazy stuff that was happening, his goal changed to getting the hell outta there. Remember, Ethan was gung ho about leaving Mia behind when he thought the cop could save him. His goal after the shit in the guesthouse changed to survival and getting out. It just so happens that Mia was still alive. People are acting like goals can't change lol.
You're not. But I didn't choose her because there were subtle hints in the game that blatantly showed you couldn't save her.
Mainly the two samples which were parts of *failed* D-type bioweapons.
Now with a serum composed of that, I don't imagine it would do much but suppress the infection of an E- type virus. Not by much of course. Zoe is a nice girl and it's horrible what happened to her and her family, but she had no way of countering Eveline if she ever got close to her since she never did (hence why she stayed in the trailer when the family was taking care of Eveline and why she wasn't as crazy as her family) which then leads to her death if you chose her.
Mia was still considered a mother to Eveline because it was imprinted in her so I knew at least Mia wouldn't be killed if something happened because we all knew that escape was way too easy. We've seen that she can resist Eveline to a small degree and serum that could suppress it would probably help.
Plus, the part where we play as Mia makes more sense if we choose her because the one where we choose Zoe feels a lot more like an asspull if you ask me.

The serum probably just gets rid of what you had at the time, but you are still vulnerable to getting it again. Mia also gets taken over in both endings.
The serum was made with an imperfect (Type-D) model, most likely it didn't work perfectly for Type-E infection. Also I don't recall Mia getting taken over in the 'Good' ending, other than the few that seemed more like hallucinations to me.

Everyone's freaking out over Chris' character design change and how he's working with Umbrella but they forgot something..... Not only was the umbrella logo different but also, the original Umbrella being responsible for raccoon city was public. And Neo Umbrella being responsible for the events of RE6. Clearly Umbrella has been reformed under a different light. A better one. Ethan would've known about this considering his comment at the end. "And these guys are here to clean up the mess"
Also, Ethan says "took you guys long enough" when Chris was helping him up.

The logic behind picking Zoe is looking at from the perspective of you as the player. Mia has done nothing, but attack you and get kidnapped where as Zoe has been helping since she contacted you. That's the reasoning from the two let's plays, one of them in VR that I watched. Though after thinking it through they both picked Mia because she is your wife and she's the whole reason you're even here in the first place.

Zoe it's a shame she died.

I personally dont like it very much when games got multiple endings because its way better in my opinion to just focus on creating one great and satisfying ending to the story and the characters and if you have multple endings non of them usually feels that great or satisfying.
CyberLance26 it makes people play the game again so it wont feel like a waste of money like thats one reason why i dont like games with no multiplayer because once you beat it theres nothing else to do but if it has multiple endings then ill still play it
CyberLance26 considering Witcher 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Mass Effect 2, as well as their dlcs, I'd have to disagree with that statement. The only thing that makes a game's ending unsatisfying is poor writing.
I'm actually disappointed that the choices and differences aren't that elaborate. With their interviews, it seemed to have a lot more going for it, choices- and branching-wise. It's a good game, but I hate it when they pretend they are giving you all the choices to branch out the story in different ways, which in the end only amounts to 2 or 3 subtle differences.
That and the "hillbilly" theme for me are the only real shortcomings of the game.
It's not impossible to achieve.
Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross did it. So did many other games.
But with just 1 ending, everything is linear and there's no sense of choice and less replay value.
Let's not forget that Zoe spent most of the game trying to help you escape.

Jack Lake Resident Evil has been identified as "Biohazard" before. I can remember (I'm not sure if it depended on country or whatnot) but for example, Resident Evil 5's title screen was renamed "Biohazard 5". I guess Capcom just decided to tack Biohazard on this one.

I agree Leon has been my favorite since he was introduced. Didn't realize there was a new CG movie...those have been decent...far better than the live action crap.
So in the "good" ending, Mia survives and they are both picked up via helicopter and in the bad ending the same but Mia is dead. Having never played a Resident Evil game before, I'm a little hazy on the details, but Umbrella is the evil corporation responsible for all the out breaks, correct. I also noticed that the mold is called the E-strain or project-E or something like that. I'm assuming that's because of the test subject being Eveline. Now, during the last bits of the game Ethan is seeing the little girl Eve, meaning that he's been infected to the level that he can see the hallucinations that she causes. Now since the project is named with the letter E and both Ethan and Eve have names that begin with that letter, is it possible that if project E is seen or mentioned in future RE games, then could it be possible that Ethan becomes Umbrella's new test subject for the E-strain.

If you look at it at a logical stand point Zoe knew the way out so one would assume that you pick her then come back with some help to save Mia help as in like say a organization like the BSAA.
And as shown once Eve dies then the infected can go back to their normal life, though Mia was over reacting when the player chose Zoe and not let Ethan explain his reasoning which was very logical of Ethan find the way out come back with help presumably to kill Eve. And quite honestly i kinda wished the Zoe ending went that route instead of everyone dies thing they did.
I picked Zoe because Mia cut my hand off with a chainsaw after disappearing for 3 years. Seemed like a pretty simple decision.

Bought and finished it on the same day it only took 6.5 hours. It wasn't even that scary, the jumps-scares were easy to predict which took the fun out off it (still loved it though, the garage boss fight was my favourite) I found alien isolation more scary because the alien was I unpredictable. Overall the game was awesome it just felt short like a cod campaign or something.

Irfan King I had it on normal and explored most of the areas and repaired both broken weapons, I'm just not jumping at every shadow which slows down the game for some people. I'm now playing it on madhouse mode and it's much more fun then the first play through.
