For this version, there are only 6 voices (final version will have 12) 4. Many features are not working yet, such as multi-timbrality, some modulations, velocity response and built-in effects section. 5. Pitch bend and Mod wheel will be added for the final version. 6. Keyboard could be replaced with a 61 key version for the final version. Of course more detailed demos will come featuring some of the most important local artists, such as Ernesto Romeo. By this time, we just wanted to record something before disassembling the synth again to continue working on it.

Apart from the 12 vs. 7 voices and the divine name, I‘d also prefer the less cramped panel layout and larger display. Any chance for a 5-octave Zeus sooner or later?
You’ve got a good start. It has a nice sound, very promising. It takes a lot of work to put together a polyphonic analog, especially with multitimbral capabilities. Keep working on it. I’ll be watching for updates...
Always great to see new synths and developers! The demo sounded a bit too old school / vintage for my taste, but maybe Zeus can also do more modern sounds?
Would love to see this with a 61-key (or even better 76-key) poly aftertouch keybed. Did this project get shelved in favour of the E7, or did this become the E7? Would love to see this 12-voice version come to market.
I'd like to hear it played monophonically too. Playing a big spread of octaves with 2 hands during every single patch is kind of cheating, most people wont play it that way. Can it do Bass? Leads? FX?
The envelopes sounded quite ordinary. Either the patch designer gave the sounds too short of a Decay with too low a Sustain for my taste, or the envelope shape needs to be refined. DGMW, it sounds OK for a cheap synth, but it doesn't sound expensive.
We are now working on a new analog monophonic synth with built in effects. Those built in effects will be used for Zeus, as well as most of the firmware with a few modifications.
To not include 5 octaves would really limit the whole experience, and be a sad decision. Even if it meant that you made two versions. A 4 & 5 octave model. On a mono-synth, I could more see the logic in cutting the range to just 4 octaves.

More importantly, it really lacks any character. This may be due to very basic implementation of pretty standard synthesizer blocks. It seems to need more work to get some juice. Perhaps there should be some saturation and overdrive in the filter, and the filter should have a wider range. Also, some audio rate modulation options should be added, like oscillator FM, filter FM, maybe something very unusual to escape from the boring subtractive scheme that is so much last few decades. Also: blue LEDs are ugly and tiresome for the eye, really. Good luck with making this better!
I keep reading this and similar comments under synth demos and I wonder, why would one expect to "be impressed" by a synth? Isn't it enough if it "sounds good"? Not every new instrument can blow our minds, right?

It sounds good and unique, but yes....please do a 61 key version, even if it is the only version.
When is it available? I really would like to buy one if it has 61 keys.

We are far at this moment but we will eventually resume this project, probably adding some more features.

if its name it's Zeus, it has to sound like Zeus.
On this demo sounds worst than a 2000 VSTi.
You need some serious sound design so you can show off more than a synth that sounds like a Juno with the chorus off. Hit me up.
