- I have a secret weapon for organised and efficient beading: the Waffle Flower water media mat! While originally designed for watercolors, this silicone lifesaver has become my go-to tool for keeping my beads in check.

Here's why I love it:
Grippy surface: Say goodbye to runaway beads! This mat's stickiness keeps everything in place, no matter how tiny or slippery.
Organised chaos: Twelve built-in pallets are perfect for sorting your beads by colour, type, or any other system that keeps you sane.
Secure and stable: The raised frame adds an extra layer of protection, preventing beads from accidentally spilling off the edges.
Compact storage: When you're done creating, simply roll it up for space-saving storage.
Bottom line: If you're looking for a game-changer in your beading, the Waffle Flower water media mat is it. Trust me, your fingers (and sanity) will thank you!
So ditch the bead chaos and embrace the organised joy of the Waffle Flower mat!

I use an old bit of velvet upholstery fabric I had lying around. Works fine.
Thank you. Do whatever works for you. I have just had so many requests about this mat.
I've admired that mat and wondered about it. I just looked it up on Amazon and nearly fell on the floor ... $42! Since I've gone this long without one, I think I, personally, would rather use the money on beads and such, but thank you for telling us about it. Now we know!
I was a bit surprised too. But I'm thinking we could DIY something as effective. I'm thinking, maybe a silicone baking mat from the Dollar Store or thrift, and build up the divided areas with hot glue or E6000. I think we can come up with something similar, effective and in our price range. 😊
That's fair enough Deborah - I was actually given mine. I do love it though. Have fun buying the beads!
That's very ingenious@@penelopefp. I tried a silicone mat but it didn't work the same. It wasn't as thick and moved around.
@@The_Stylish_Maker When we use something a lot and it is "just right", we find ways to make the price work. I found the perfect pen that I love, and though it seems ridiculous to say it, I paid $15 for it. It is a multi-pen with 4 colors and I use it every day. A pen. $15. 🙄 🤪 😁
@@penelopefp I totally get that! I know it’s expensive but when you work out the cost per use, it actually works out pretty good.
I use a velvet mat similar to this and a silicone baking mat. Very useful
Thank you. I find my little beads get trapped in the velvet. I particularly like this one over a silicone baking mat (I've tried those too) because of the places to put the beads.
I honestly thought this was a specialist beading mat! I use a felt fabric table place mat or a Beadsmith bead mat, together with plastic watercolour paint palettes which have lots of little compartments great for holding beads 😊
Yes, it was a bit of a trick. I wouldn’t have even thought about using this mat if it hadn’t been gifted to me. It’s all about using what works for us.
I have been looking for this forever!!!....thank you so much!!!
You are very welcome.

That’s weird. I just clicked the link and it says it’s in stock for me. Not sure what to tell you.
Really nice mat.
Thank you. I love it and find it is the best I've ever used.
I like it ❤l have been using an old glass deviled egg serving tray.
Thank you so much. I used to use little plastic shot glasses too but this works much better. An egg serving tray sounds pretty useful too.
Thx 4 the info.
You're welcome.
Will you be making valentine bracelets? I would like to see, if you do.❤
Great question, Heidi. Thank you. Not this year. I did make some Valentine's earrings last year. ua-cam.com/video/yf-tAO3j-D8/v-deo.htmlsi=-7hrxDQnchkxcYoH
